Plenty Of Features & It Works Well Too
The best feature of this product is that it works, and well, too - I'll post back here if that turns out not to be the case. Here are my initial impressions:1) The device is large, being 2" wide and high - it reminds me more of a standard size RR box car than a sleek USB 3.0 hub.2) The device is constructed entirely out of Aluminum metal - a great conductor of heat and static electricity.3) Someone finally got the blue 'on lights' perfect - they are easily visible next to each upward facing port; they provide enough light to see they're 'on' with no blinding glare; and there is no light bleed between ports - each port shows when its 'on' without bleeding light into the adjacent port.4) The 'box car' itself is well constructed - components are bolted together; the supplied hook-up cables are long enough to comfortably reach the floor from a 42" high desktop; and all the plugs fit firmly into their jacks - this device will easily last for years. In summary, its well worth the initial investment, its very well built, and its a very functional piece of equipment. If you need a hub, this'll do you real fine.

Excellent product
While I truly like this product, I find the short USB 3.0 cable to be an annoyance [however I can buy another cable so it's not a deal breaker by any means]. The housing is extremely sturdy and should hold up to nearly any reasonable amount of abuse. The price is good considering some suppliers don't include the power cord and ORICO does. Even though some suppliers have a lower price for a hub, the price after the ac power adaptor is factored in is often higher than the ORICO; therefore they beat the others since most manufacturers use plastic cases rather than the more durable Aluminum. One thing I would note, its not a detracting factor as much as an FYI, if the power to the unit is disconnected or goes off, the switch on the unit resets to off once the power is restored. Therefore you have to remember to press the power switch any time the unit has been without power [unlike a toggle switch which doesn't reset to off by default].

Stellar quality, great speeds, easy setup, first unit arrived with a small defect.
The media could not be loaded. Initial impressions during the unboxing process were stellar. The USB HUB itself felt like a rock, its silver anodized aluminum casing is approx. 2mm thick all around making this an incredibly rugged enclosure. Inside the box I was also greeted with a 60W power supply with a total cable length of about 90” (approx 7.5 feet), a 3ft USB cable, a user manual, and a warranty card.Setting everything up on Windows 7 and Ubuntu Mate 16.04 was pretty straight forward. Just plug everything in, turn it on, and the HUB should be automatically recognized by the OS. Total setup time was under 3 minutes and I ran into zero problems along the way. The benchmark results from crystal disk mark were very good. I was using my ASUS G75 VW for testing along with an ORICO USB-C drive enclosure in conjunction with an ADATA SP550 SSD. The speeds while benchmarking the drive directly through my laptops USB ports vs. through the USB HUB were nearly identical. Through the ORICO A3H13P2 my SSD hit sequential read/write speeds of 231/260MB/s and random read/write speeds a little over 24/45MB/s. I ran the benchmark through several different ports on the USB HUB and each trial yielded similar results. Now, there is something that I do need to disclose to the readers. The first unit ORICO sent over actually suffered from a small defect. An inductor towards the bottom of the board would knock against the aluminum casing every time a device inserted into one of the bottom four ports was removed. This prompted the four lowest data ports to disconnect every time this occurred and therefore all devices on those four ports would be dropped. I fixed this problem by applying some electrical tape over that inductor, it was an easy fix but one that I should not have had to perform on a new $60 product. ORICO promptly sent over a new unit after I notified them about the issue and it appears that the problem is isolated to that particular unit as the new one worked perfectly. Here are a few more things to note about the HUB:-There are no rubber feet on the bottom so it will slide around all over the place on a smooth surface. I have linked to some rubber feet down below if you want to stick some on yourself.– The indication lights are only there to tell you if a device is plugged in and properly recognized by your system. They do not act as read/write access indication lights.-I have had trouble with power buttons on ORICO USB HUB’s in the past. The one on this unit actually works pretty well though, I did not run into any issues with it.-The LED indication lights are a bit bright, some may find their intensity to be annoyingThis is a great USB HUB for someone who needs an excessive number of USB ports (you can never have too many right? :p ). The casing is absolutely gorgeous, overall build quality is great, speeds are fantastic, and it has plenty of ports for even the most demanding USB device user! I have to say though that I am a bit disappointed that the first unit arrived with a defectPROS:-Stellar build quality-Great speeds-Easy to set up-No compatibility issues with Windows or Ubuntu Mate-15 Ports!Cons:-Would like to see the addition of rubber feet-First one arrive with a defectWATCH THE VIDEO REVIEW FOR MORE!This product was received as a review sample.

Great build quality. Nice blue led lights. Power plug/brick blocks 2nd outlet.
I could have saved money buying this quality unit first. This hub replaces the $12.99 7-port usb 2.0 hub I purchased in 2012. Sure, the old one lasted 3 years but it was time to replace it since the wires were hanging out due to cheap construction. This ORICO hub is built rock-solid with a black aluminum enclosure that looks great next to my custom-built black gaming pc. Even if you're a clutz like I was, if the USB wire snags on something..it will just unplug. The cheap unit I had before pulled all the wires from within the unit damaging it. The blue led lights indicating a usb plug is "on" are just the right amount of brightness while still remaining subtle and not overpowering to the eye. All my ports are running at true usb 3.0 speeds and it's simple to plug and play. My only complaint about this unit (and it's a minor complaint) is that the power brick is at the plug. And it's the type of power/plug that will block the outlet below it. Luckily I had space on my UPS (backup batter unit) to plug it in. I don't like plugs that block the neighboring outlet. Bad design. Not enough to take away a star. Finally, there might be something better out there but this is the highest quality USB hub I found. Bonus: there is an on/off button on the back. It's nice to have if going on vacation to eliminate power waste.

Good and enough output current power supply might needed to ...
Using it for almost 1.5 years and found it surprisingly durable.Good and enough output current power supply might needed to support all 10 ports.I don't think it can actually handle its power consumption with 12V 3A adapter that come with the hub.Try something with 12V 4A or above 5A and check polarity of the hub and a power adapter to make sure either isn't reversed.
