General Tools 400 Telescoping Alligator Clip

We use it as an extender for the gate access card to scan to open the community gates. It's working brilliantly. No longer need to maneuver the car along the tricky turn where the access card scanner is located, no longer need to pull up really really close to the scanner, and no longer need to get my entire arm wet if it's raining. Should've bought something like this 10 years ago.

I use this in my car when I drive in order to reach things, like on the floor of the passenger side. This is a little longer than the old telescoping radio antenna I used to use. I may use the clip to attach a key or some other object to the end to help snagging and dragging a heavier object. I'm giving it only 4 stars because it feels a bit flimsy - the old radio antenna was sturdier. I'm afraid to apply to much lateral force for fear of bending it.

I needed this to light pilot light for furnace. Perfect tool works like a charm
