Perfect Every Time — Fragrant, Fluffy, and Delicious!
This rice is a staple in my kitchen! Daawat Traditional Basmati cooks up beautifully — long, fluffy grains with that signature aroma and light, nutty flavor that elevates every dish. Whether I’m making biryani, stir-fry, or a simple side, it turns out perfect every time. The 10 lb bag is a great value and lasts a while, especially since the quality is so consistent. It’s my go-to brand for basmati — no sticking, no clumping, just great rice every time.Highly recommend if you want authentic, restaurant-quality basmati rice at home!

Good healthy rice
Best rice that can be found in markets today. Those people who like to have a healthy diet to use as a side dish. Or if you’re traditionally cooking Indian or Persian food you would love this rice.

Reliably Good Results. Fragrant, with Very Long Grains
The rice grains are in excellent condition. This is easy to cook and get great results. I have used Indian and Persian methods for cooking this rice. The grains become extremely long and fluffy. It's got a very nice aroma.

A good Basmati, well-packed.
Package came in perfect condition. Rice expiration date was good and the bag had nothing but good, full, long grains of Basmati. The Aroma out of the bag was not as strong as others like Tilda, but the rice was cleaner and required less washing. I use a rice cooker and add water to just below the line, as well as salt and a dash of cooking oil. I have found that Basmati tends to over cook and dry out in the rice cooker, so I switch the cooker to warm once I can really smell the rice strongly, and then shut it off completely after 10 minutes. This rice turned out good that way. It is definitely a totally good Basmati, and one you may prefer if you like a milder rice flavor than others that are far more nutty. But, it does lack some of the fragrance and aromas of other brands.

Probably the best Basmati rice on the American market
Light and subtle if prepared correctly. I judge it probably the best Basmati rice available on the American market. I did not give it 5 star because I prefer the earthier and rougher taste of Royal Basmati (and other cheaper brands). I grew up with a Pakistani cook whose curry was so hot and spice rough that it took a earthy rice to be barely noticed. I now keep several Basmati brands in my kitchen and if I am doing American-French (light spice food) I Go for the Daawat! Pakistani or Tex-Mex and its Royal or Elephant etc.Why kill a great delicate rice with heavy spices or deprive a mean spiced dish of the earthier village tasting rices? Keep a bag of each but if you have to go with one bag, go with the Daawat! (Note I do not have a rice cooker, do my rice in a pot, so have no idea what any taste like if you are using a rice cooker!)

Amazon needs to take product pics down.
This rice is good, tastes fine, but it's falsely advertised with Shah Rukh Khan on the bag of rice and in the advertising pics of the item. I bought this expensive brand of rice twice now, ONLY to get the Shah Rukh Khan bag that is pictured, and two times got only the plain bag with no Shah Rukh Khan. Very disappointing and Amazon should not be allowed to advertise something looking a certain way then send a different version of it. I think I'm going to give up on Amazon sending one that looks like the pic and keeping looking in Indian grocery stores. I have absolutely nothing against Daawat brand rice, it's Amazon that is frustrating. Daawat is brilliant for choosing Shah Rukh as their brand ambassador. So if you want good basmati rice it's fine but if you're a Shah Rukh Khan fan that cares more about the cute package, don't get your hopes up.

ARNAQUE - RETOUR IMPOSSIBLE
