Great guitar very happy with purchase
Reall impressed. This guitar sounds fantastic and plays really well IMO.Always takes me a couple of days to get the feel of a new guitar but has a really niceUnsurprisingly resonant tone.Had obviously been tuned/tested prior to despatch, as it was almost in tune.A big surprise was that it came with fantastic D’Addario strings, so no need to upgrade.

Very good for the money.
The Regal RD-30 T is very good for the price but don't hope for something way better, it ain't gonna happen. The build and finish are absolutely excellent, I have no qualms regarding that, but it's in the guts of the thing that it falls short. The sound is very second rate, a cone / bridge upgrade would help no end and any setup from the factory seems to be non-existent. It came with ridiculously light strings and the action is too low for any real slide attack.Having said all this I can still see a damn good guitar here.Update! I was right, I have now fitted a quarterman cone, a #14 spider and a Lace Sensor dobro pickup. This guitar sounds truly fabulous. I've put 15's resonator strings on and I have an instrument I can be proud of.

Love it, but!!
Love the guitar, it's great to play and for the money I was amazed at the superb sound it gives. However, I had two issues when it arrived and did consider sending it back. First of all there was a buzz caused by end plate where the strings attach vibrating on the sound plate. I solved this by inserting a small piece of rubber between the two parts. Secondly, one of the wire mesh sound hole covers was not properly attached and fell into the guitar. Very difficult to get out without a strong magnet on a stick. I googled this problem and found it was common but many people who buy the guitar remove the wire mesh covers and find the sound improved so I removed the other one and now I'm delighted with it. I've gigged with it and had great comments on its looks and sound.
