Still feel it's missing that luminescent mineral effect.BMs has been a miss in Colouration lately (golden medium oxidizes) but their formula looks less"old lady".I may need to mix with something else to get it right.Very high quality however. Coverage is good, no need to make several passes for build up.

Youngblood Mineral Foundation has the most beautiful finish of all the mineral foundations I've tried. Some mineral foundations make me itch, even though they all have basically the same ingredients. Youngblood never causes itching, so it must have less concentration of whatever irritates my skin. Talc for sure causes itching and redness, which is why I use minerals, but, for awhile I thought bismuth oxychloride was a problem for me as well. I avoided mineral foundations for quite some time, but recently I came across an old photo of myself, and my skin looked incredible. For some reason, I remembered that I was using Youngblood minerals at the time the photo was taken, so I decided to give these another go. Back when I used Youngblood (a LONG time ago) there were less shade choices and Warm Beige was my only option. Even though it wasn't an exact color match, it looked great. Now Youngblood's shades are expanded, and Tawnee is the perfect match for my skin. I love the finish - it adds a vibrance to skin but no shimmer or glittery "fake" look. It has a much less "glowy" finish than other popular mineral foundations, and, on me, I feel this looks more "natural". I don't like to look "made up", but I like to look put together and neat. (And I like to mute freckles & stuff). I don't use mineral powder foundation every day, mostly because my skin changes with seasons, but I still thinks it's the perfect, easy hot weather makeup. It is excellent at staying put, and controlling oil and perspiration. It keeps my face looking fresh as long as possible.

As someone with super oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin, I was a bit hesitant purchasing this product as it is not made specifically for my skin issues. I went out on a limb and purchased anyway, 1 in soft beige and 1 in warm beige (for when I tan a little bit). Needless to say, I love it! Prior to this product, I had not found a foundation that did not make me break out (more than usual), I've been using this Youngblood mineral foundation for 6 months now and will continue to recommend to others.As far as my oily skin is concerned, it did not fix this issue nor did it even help this issue, but 1) I was not expecting it to help, 2) it was not made to help oily skin, and 3) I am pretty sure there is no cure for my oily face. The good thing is that it didn't exacerbate the issue.As for application, even with my oily skin the most important step in any foundation (but especially mineral foundation) is a good moisturizer. I personally like a natural look, but at times I think I over-do it with the foundation. With this foundation my friends are always surprised at the fact that I'm even wearing foundation, it looks sooo natural! This greatly has to do with proper moisturization, blending, and finding the appropriate color for your skin, I did an abundant amount of research before purchasing my shades so they match my complexion perfectly.

LOVE IT!! I've used this product for over 10 years, but have always purchased through a medical aesthetic office, at which I found it very hard to find, and actually got a certain location to start carrying the entire line due!! Often times they were out of my color etc. I've worked in film and makeup for years as well as in plastic surgery and used it on celebrities to post op patients. I too, have been a loyal customer for over 10 consistent years and continually get asked what makeup I use. When finding it on amazon I was thrilled, as they could deliver it to my door the same day for 3.99 extra or next day for free. This makes my mission to finding a place that carries and has my color in stock no longer a mission. Cannot say enough about Youngblood Loose Mineral Foundation, as I've tried many and nothing compares to the full coverage, yet dewy appearance.. It covers even your worse flaws or blemishes without giving you that "make up" look, your skin still beams through, leaving you looking flawless and healthy.

I am so happy my esthetician friend turned me on to this brand of mineral foundation. I like it way better than bare minerals that I used for a long time. The packaging is also really nice. It is more shallow and wide. So it's easier to swirl in the lid because there is more space there.This is the first time I tried this shade. I normally get warm beige. I was told that my skin type can wear warm or neutral tones. I really liked warm beige but sometimes I don't love having that yellow undertone so I decided to try this end of the spectrum. I think its a smidge dark for me without having any color, but not too dark that it looks unnatural at all! It works out perfect so I will take it with me to travel in a hot climate where I will be getting some sun.I love the product, color, formula, packaging, got a great sale price. I can't recommend this enough!

I love this product! This is my favorite foundation. It’s very natural as well as buildable. I have melasma and young blood mineral foundation does a great job hiding it. It blends well to give me full coverage without looking overdone or caked on.

Since it's hard enough to match a color to your skin tone online & especially so if you haven't used that product before.. This was on sale and it had been named "sunglow"... As I was self tanning for summer, I thought this would work for me.. I went to the official website to see if there was a little bit more information on this color and it turns out this isn't available on their website so it is either a new color or discontinued. It was a great price and I figured that if I lucked out, it would match perfect and I would use it for an all over face powder over my foundation for a little extra coverage, if it was too dark then I would use it as a bronzer and if it is WAY too dark, then I could always use it as my contour... Well let me say that I am REALLY glad to have purchased this product because I can use it as a bronzer when I am tanning, or a contour when I am not... I couldn't believe how little amunt of product you get and was initially feeling cheated but let me tell you that it's CRAZY how much there really is plus you hardly use any (if I was using it as a powder foundation daily, this would last nearly two months...) and the product itself works very well with the right brush and doesn't sit on top of your skin or look powdery.. it isn't drying to your skin and doesn't accentuate any fine lines or pores... It is a light coverage, which is typical of a powder foundation, but if matched to your skin tone correctly, works amazingly well at adding extra coverage on top of a liquid or cream foundation as an all over setting powder. With all this said- it is VERY expensive and to be honest- I wouldn't pay the full price for this product but would repurchase that the 10$ range that I snagged it for. I went out on a limb and it paid off... And I must say that the packaging is to DIE for and extremely high end looking and feeling, it has a lot of weight to it and when you open the lid, it has a screen which has holes in it like a salt shaker.... I have never had to actually dispense any of the product out or shake any out as there is always the perfect amount in the lid, so make sure you open and close it in the upside down position so that the product doesn't spill out of the lid everywhere. Upon initially opening and checking out product after receiving, I was under the impression that this was going to be a problem and that there would we wastage of product as well as a mess and this hasn't been the incase, it has actually been ideal as I have not wasted any of the product. This is definitely a high end product- the actual mineral powder as well as the packaging definitely scream high end luxury but all in all, It is not something that is worth the price for what I use it for...

This is the best foundation I have every used on my skin! It has complete full coverage of my skin and makes my skin look so much younger. I love the fact that it does not clog my pores. It has a very even texture too it and blends very well on the skin. The color matches very well with my skin type and has awesome natural ingredients in this product. This foundation will last me a good 6 months with every day use and I will be defiently buying this again!! I also like that when you put this on your skin it creates a nice matte look and does not settle in your "wrinkles". It actually fills them up for you. Youngblood has created a great reputation for themselves and the packaging is also super cute!
