Exactly what I was looking for. Very good deal for the price you pay in return for getting twelve locks. I was looking for as many padlocks as I can find that would use the same key for all of them. The local hardware stores only had name brand locks that were expensive for the number of locks using the same key (usually four locks at most). For less price, you get twelve locks using the same key and the quality is not bad. Certainly meets my requirement for what I am using them for. They're decent enough being made in China, I can't complain, they work just fine.One piece of advice- I needed more than twelve padlocks so I ordered two sets of the twelve pack. One thing that I found out after I got them and tested them out is that the same key works for only the set of twelve padlocks that the keys come with. Since I ordered two sets of the twelve pack, the key from the other twelve pack set did not work to open the padlocks from the other set and vice versa. Hope that wasn't too confusing... Overall, I'm satisfied to find twelve padlocks that use the same key.

We use these locks to lock animal cages at PetSmart. The main draw to them is that there are so many that are keyed alike. I can't find any others that have this quantity in the package (tho I'm sure I could at a lock store). These are very heavy duty.My dislike for them tho is that it says on package that there is a 5yr guarantee. I did not actually call the company to find out if they would replace them, but the reason we got new ones is because many of the others broke in less than a year - they just wouldn't lock anymore. Another dislike for them is that on the back it has a blurb about them having a chemical that could be dangerous to pregnant people and it also causes cancer. I may not have bought them had this info been published on Amazon. However, my guess is that's why it's not listed. But it's important to know! It's at least listed on the product, so that's good. I was just shocked to see it on the package.Bottom line, I may or may not buy these again. They fit the cages perfectly and are heavy duty quality, but I dislike the cancer bit and the fact that they break.

Received locks and based on other reviews made sure to test them before using the 6 I needed right away. In the process, I found that a few keys were harder to turn in some locks but worked well in others. With all of the keys you get with the package (24 keys), it was very easy to find all easy working key/lock combinations. Tons of spare keys and working as expected. I have mine on a rabbit hutch / chicken coop outside and they are working great so far. I do not expect them to last for years outdoors in the elements but I cannot complain with the price and quality so far.

I must admit I wasn't really paying attention when I purchased this lock set and since I grew up in AMERICA I am unfamiliar with metrics (But can now tell you that 30mm = 1 inch). That aside, the locks work well for my particular use (locking gun cases) and I like that I only have to have 1 key. I can also lock my fence gate and shed out back all using just the 1 key. It does come with 2 keys per lock so you will end up with a lifetime supply of replacement keys (24) if your one to lose things. If you want what I would consider a "standard" size lock, buy 1 size up from this.EDIT: I just noticed the title has been "updated" to include 1" in the title description... That helps!

These locks are the right size for locking small secure boxes (ammo cans). However they do not close and lock smoothly. 4 of the 12 are extremely hard to lock, requiring lots or finger pressure to finally lock up tight. I doubt that I'll use those 4. (2 stars off.) Also, the picture and printed description on the package shows 8 "stakes" holding the laminate layers together; there is only 4 stakes on these products. This "4 stakes" is not a big deal, but it shows that this supplier does not have good quality control.A plus is that all 24 keys work OK in each of the 12 locks.

You don’t mind all the locks being keyed almost the same , I’ve ordered these 5 times to secure items and there’s always 1-2 keys that don’t open any of the 12 locks so if I’m lucky 10 are useful

I thought the shank thickness and overall dimensions of these locks would have been larger. These were too small for my intended purpose. These would work fine for a gym locker. The actual dimensions are: 1/8" shank thickness, 1 & 3/16" pad width, 7/8" shank height, measured from the top of the pad to top of the shank. Overall height of this lock is 1&15/16". I should have gone with the 50mm shank, 2" width,12 count locks, & 24 keys, keyed the same; and free shipping, from the same lock maker. (I had to pay $8+ shipping) They are however well constructed and appear durable. The locks may need a drop of machine oil to operate smoothly.

I got 2 different sets that were keyed alike. None of the others were. Only reason I'm keeping is because I'm on a time crunch and HAD to have them. Total junk though, don't bother.ETA: They resolved the issue by giving me a refund. I wasn't able to send them back, but I was able to order more.
