The one large one I received was just like the other ones I bought and I believe is a good product I did not test this one. The ones for the smaller cords had a defect that I saw as soon as I removed them from the package. The larger clip that holds the unit closed would not clasp and stay in the lock position. The outer edges stay closed for the most part however that is not enough to keep the water out. I do not know whether this was a defective product or a faulty design. I will be returning this item and not using them.

In general, this is a great idea and cost effective when compared to what I can buy locally. With that said, the fit is very tight, and I had a bit of a struggle closing it around the connections. Next time, I will try to find a larger version.

Little difficult to open but works well on small electrical cords. Decided to try after electrical issue last year with moisture that required $125 electrician fee.

In stringing lights for outdoors, lights connect to extension cords at a perpendicular angle so doesn't help with that. On the connections that are end to end it works fine.

Used these for connecting net light sets. Not useful to connect the really heavy duty extension cords, but great for net lights!

This product worked great to keep water out, heavy rains this winter however Christmas lights continued to come on as scheduled.

Using them for my outdoor flies trap light. After couple days of raining, no problem at all. There're 3 rubber ring to isolate the plug from water. Nice product. Thank you

Expensive for what they are but they work well. Connects the holiday lights together so they don’t shock or get wet.
