The potentiometer is pretty good quality but I always want a bigger 10 turn dial on it. About double the diameter of the dial it comes with would be nice. It would also be nice if there was an option to read from the bottom instead of the top... Never mind, I'm just dreaming.

The 1kohm 2watt 10 turn potentiometer didn't last one day .The Hitachi SJP1 7.5 Kw VFD that I was using this for an anologue speed (frequency) control on called for a 1 k ohm 1 w potentiometer.All it had to do was handle 0 to 10 volts at 20 ma.It failed after only a few minutes.I had checked its operation before and after soldering the connections.It failed gradually with progressively erratic control and then complete failure.Infinite resistance between connections on the end of the wire wound resistor and then the wiper .Jiggling the shaft a minute amount caused the digitally observed output to jump from one end of the scale to the other.I have ordered a ceramic wirewound potentiometer instead.Needless to say , I am not happy for my waste of time with this item.
