Star Wars Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet

My grandson asked for this Darth Bader mask and so of course he got it! I was skeptical but, it is a great toy. Since I didn't wear it I cannot comment on how it fit but he didn't want to take it off, so I assume it was comfortable enough. It is well made and works as described with several pre-recorded Darth Vader messages and the ability to change the speaker's voice when he talks and make him sound like the bad guy. It's a great toy that kept my grandson occupied for hours.

I love the mask. I will be wearing th entire costume for an Orchestra concert in May. The theme is Star Wars. I will be Darth Vader. Great price too.

Got these for my kids (both girls - ages 9, 11) after a trip to Disneyland where they got really into Star Wars. What a great purchase!! They love them and have a great time playing with our puppy using a Darth Vader voice. The masks are just that, not a helmet with a back, but just a mask in the front. They were easily adjusted to fit each girl and stay in place when they are playing. The helmets have provided nice protection during some overly enthusiastic light saber battles. Both girls have worn the masks for 20-30 minutes at a time without any complaints of discomfort either from the straps or the weight of the helmets. Overall a great buy and worth the price.

Got this for my 7 year-old son who has been Darth Vader for Halloween for the last 3 or 4 years. He wanted this gizmo this year, which was a big techno step up from past years. He earned it! The voice changer can be a little finicky, but he liked it...and that's all that matters. Decent price for a good bit of fun.

My 7 yr old nephew loved it. The coolest part in the Darth Vader voice that you can do. It fit him great a tad big but not to bad. He kept saying it was his favorite Christmas gift. The only negative is the batteries were already in the machine, which would have been great, but there was batter acid everywhere. It was a little embarrassing, but I cleaned it and it worked great.

I bought this for my 4 year old boy and he has had an excellent time playing with this. It is easy enough for a 4 year old to operate, although the helmet might be a bit large for his head. The sounds all came out very clearly and loud enough. It was not so loud as to be deafening but loud enough to hear well. I don't think you can control the volume (or if you can I've not found the controls) so, please bear that in mind. A fun toy for a 4 year old boy to have especially if they are a Star Wars fan. My son is and his favourite character is .. Darth Vader of course!

My son had been asking for this helmet for weeks. Was unsure about getting it because of the reviews. I went ahead and took a chance. Yes the batteries are corroded but the helmet was brand new in the box where the seller can’t get into unless he opens the packaging. What I’m trying to say is that is not the sellers fault the batteries are the way they are. I just replaced the batteries safely(look online) and the helmet worked just fine. I have a feeling these helmets were made many years ago. Hints why there’s none in stores. The seller shipped my item right away. I got it 3 days before. Very happy son = very happy mom! Thank you

Garbage. What I received was not what was pictured in the description or in the video. It appears to be a cheap knock off. There is only one button on the right side, that triggers the canned phrases. There is supposed to be a button on the left side that enables the voice changer. The one I received will somewhat change your voice if you whisper. Useless at normal speaking levels. I bought another one of these from a "real" store and it works like is demonstrated in the video. The audio quality is much better as well. Was not able to return as it was a gift and was outside the return window. Packaging was not as pictured either. Should have known something was up when there were about three places on the box that touted the merchandise as being "genuine". Seems like most people have gotten what they expected with this one, so if you order it, just be sure to check it out immediately and make sure you get one with a button on each side. If there is only one button send it back.
