Amazing product against fungul gnats!
I grow plants for competition so I'm pretty particular on what I expose my plants to. Despite my careful upkeep and sanitation, I still ended up getting gnats in my soil. Initially they won't harm the plant, just a nuisance, but once their population explodes, your plant and sainity will suffer.Soap and water do too much harm to the plants and apple cider vinegar work marginally as a trap, but this stuff is perfect. It's cheap which means it's not a big impact if it fails to work, and I have seen very little impact on my most sensitive plants, no sign of harm on the hardier ones. Using this combined with letting the soil dry has killed off two separate infestations. It kills on contact as promised and a single bottle should hold you over for a good amount of time. The product has worked so well that I'm buying another for future incidents. This product is great if you want something effective, cheap, and safe. Don't be afraid to soak the plant's soil (still recommend testing a little on the plant first).

Saved my mother's bonsia tree
I bought my 94 YO mother a Bonsai tree for Christmas this year. It arrived looking great and did good for awhile and then we started see spider webs on the branches. If you looked closely you could see tiny spiders on the tree. My cousin (who currently lives at my mother's house) made up some soapy water to spray on the tree to get rid of the spider mites, it worked some but I had already order this product and when it came the tree was infested again. My cousin treated it with the Garden Safe spray and it took care of the bugs. He did have to re-spray it a few weeks later as they were back (hatching eggs I guess). Since the 2nd spraying all seems to be well and the tree is flourishing. I would highly recommend this product.

Effective and useful - safe for most plants
I've bought a couple of bottles of this because it really does kill off spider mites. My plants (3-foot potted rosebush, small chicago fig tree, small blackberry bush, two large-ish basil plants) went from yellowing and sad to perking back up in about 36 hours. My only issues are that it seems to irritate my asthma some, so be sure to use it where there's enough ventilation and definitely make sure to wash your hands well afterwards. Also remember to spray the affected plants (and any ones nearby) every few days at least to make sure that they're definitely dead and don't return! Random note: my orchid was very near to the other plants and I was concerned and sprayed it too, and even with their finicky nature, the orchid didn't even react.

Works great!
My 15 year old daughters hibiscus was moved indoors and within a few weeks it looked like it wasn’t going to make it. Leaves stared turning yellow falling off and then we noticed the spider mite webs. After 2 treatments we noticed improvements. She treated a few more times according to the directions and has periodically repeated it to keep it healthy. A few months have passed and her plant looks very strong and healthy, has had lots of buds and blooms. No nice to see a Hibiscus flower by our slider on a snowy winter day

IT WORKS, but NEED TO READ ENTIRE REVIEW
First of all, many of the people reviewing and giving derogatory reviews may not have a good understanding of what they are up against, and it takes patience to REALLY get rid of the FUNGUS GNATS you are up against. Repotting may work, but ONLY if you completely get rid of ALL the gnats flying in your house, ALL the spores in the pot (if you use it) and you buy good quality soil, and even then there is no guarantee they will not be present in either the soil, or the new plant. Having said all of that, DON'T DESPAIR. YOU CAN GET RID OF THEM (by the way - the sand on the upper layer (the right kind) is a good idea, because it makes the gnats thin the soil is dried out, which is another in a list of remedies prescribed. SEE THE FOLLOWING LINKS:http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7448.htmlhttp://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/insect/05584.htmlboth illustrate the life cycles of these little buggers - and I DID ALOT OF RESEARCH before making my purchases. AND I DOMEAN PURCHASES, plural. NO one thing will do, because you have to be prepared to fight them at ALL STAGES, and invest in more than a couple days..You need the Fungicide spray, or get the concentrate and mix 1 Tab with 1 quart in a CLEAN spray bottle. The instructions say 2-4 Tablespoons per gallon, but I didn't want to mix that much at one time, and I wanted to play it safe because someone said the straight concentrate killed their plant, but obviously they didn't read the instructions. You also need or at least it's nice to have the little yellow flags to see that you are catching them when they are flying. Believe me, they get into everything - your milk glass, soda, etc, and they showed up dead in piles under the night light on my end table lamp light that stays on at night. OH yes in your face and up your nose while you are on your computer, as they love CO2. I would rather have them fly into the yellow flags, but don't count on the 7 that come in the SAFETY Brand...oh don't get me wrong - they work great, but ONLY SEVEN!!!??? I'm not re-ordering that brand, I'm getting more from somewhere else. My 7 were LOADED, and I mean LOADED but this is only while they are in the already hatched phase and have laid god knows how many eggs that will hatch!!!!OK...I know I'm getting long winded, but you have to understand that if you don't treat them in different ways at the same time repeatedly, you won't lick the evil little $%#%$.I also tried the Insecticidal Soap from Garden Safe which only knocked them down on contact. Also, I used the Mosquito Bits by Summit, with questionable results, since they weren't gone after that, but they might have just hatched and re-deposited eggs. I wouldn't bother with them and just stick with the fungicide and flags. Right know, I'm trying some sliced potatoes just buried in the soil to check to see if the larvae are still active, so I know where I am in the cycle(s).ANY WAY YOU GET THE IDEA. PLEASE READ the links. Don't give up and keep trying. GOOD LUCK!!

Killed aphids on my apple tree
I have a 4 year old apple tree that seems to always gets aphids this time of the year. I usually used water and dawn to get rid of them. Even though it did kill them, the leaves would turn brown and die. I’m assuming it was from the sun and too much soap. Anyways, I decided to try this product. I sprayed my apple tree at night and by the next morning, majority of the aphids were gone. It didn’t cause any discoloration of the leaves! Everything looks healthy. My apple tree is happy!
