Great addition to my living room, the lamp feels strong and sturdy, nice bright and even lighting, put one of my smart lightbulbs in it and worked perfectly.

Overall the lamp works well for its intended purpose. However, with no way to tighten, firm up, or lock a position... how long the pivot joints will be able to hold a desired position before they wear out remains to be seen.

This trendy light is very bright, I may replace the bulb with something softer. The light itself is small enough to fit in any space, doesn't take up much room, and bends to fit your needs. It shines light exactly where you want it simply by bending the base into position. Easy on/off switch at the top. Very pleased with this updated look.

This is an ok lamp. I like the black matte finish. It goes well in any of my rooms. It was easy to assemble, although I wish companies would stop using the hard Styrofoam that breaks and explodes into a mess all over the house.The lamp has an adjustable arm, just don't bend it too far down or the lamp will fall over. The base is not very stable... It must be on level ground or it till tip over. It works best on tile rather than carpet. If it were more stable I would have given it another star, but it is not.

If you are like me, some dimensions seem to be larger (or smaller) than they actually are. In this case, 54.5” sounds taller than it actually is. Fortunately, I had just build a medium height cabinet that was 56” tall, so I knew how tall this would be.Given that, I like this type, and height, lamp. The arm swing and light shade tilt lets it work as a reading lamp (if you use a bulb that doesn’t get too hot).We play a lot of board games on a variety of tables. This works great to illuminate a pretty wide area without getting in the way of the games or shine in our eyes.Bottom line: we like it and use it daily.

The Catalina Lighting 21401-000 Modern Adjustable Metal Floor Lamp is black with brass accents, extremely bright, bendable for positioning as needed and great for reading by! I actually put it in my home library because it looks nice and works so well!

Our house needs more items added to our décor including lights. We have several rooms we’re trying to change the lighting or to add more. I was offered this light and thought it would be perfect in either the boys’ rooms or in our office areas. I waited a few days after it arrived to put it together as it’s been hectic around here. I was able to quickly assemble by myself with no problems. This light is not actually made much for décor, more as a utilitarian light maybe for a desk, reading, or office area. It’s very simple in design, and the lamp head doesn’t move in very many directions. However, the lamp is very sturdy. It is also a little expensive for what it is: a simple floor lamp. Recommend but with those caveats.

This is a metal floor lamp by Catalina Lighting. It would be great for placing next to a couch and serving as a reading light because the lamp shade points downward and is very directional. As far as a general room light, I don't think that this light is very effective because it simply isn't tall enough to throw light in the room in a meaningful way. I'm 5'6" and the lamp shade is at the height of my head. If I want it to light up a whole room I have to turn and position the bendable arm in a weird way, when I just don't think that this lamp should be used that way.That being said, I think this would be a great lamp to place next to a chair and server as a single reading light.

bought two of these...they look nice and give good light but one of the units can keep it's head up. The arm just keeps falling down. I don't have the time to bother to send back but really does anything work anymore...is there any good quality out there anymore? arrrggh...
