Kuranda Chewproof Bed - Almond PVC - 50" x 36" - Cordura Nylon - Forest

I have been using kuranda cots for almost 15 years. The quality is consistent, and they have held up great over time. The vinyl sags a bit with age, but my dogs don't mind. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. Unlike ones sold by the other major company starting with a K, these truly are chew proof!

We had an issue with the shipment and customer service from seller was great! The bed is awesome! Our boxer puppy had torn up 2 regular dog beds. This bed is great! He also likes it and will readily lay on it. We lay a blanket on it because he’s 5 months old and it makes it cozy. Easy to wash bed. Hoping it last for years.

Put 2 of these together in one hour. They're made with durable pvc tubing, which is where the vinyl pad that your dog sleeps on slides into the channels on the pvc tubing. There are 8 bolts, nuts and washers to screw the corners together making it very simple. The 4 legs come with rubber inserts that keep the bed from sliding. These might be more expensive than other beds here, but their durability and ease of putting together, makes it worth every penny.

I didn’t realize the product required assembly, but that was just an oversight on my part. This is a PVC bed, however the corners are attached with bolts unlike other pre assembled, fixed PVC corners.It is rock solid and was easy to assemble.I gave it four stars only because water doesn’t go through the bed. It sits on top unlike previous beds we’ve had. Some may like this as a feature.I would rate the assembled product Excellent.

My bloodhound can destroy a normal dog bed in seconds. She finally ripped her Kuranda, but it took her over 3 years! I gladly made a repeat purchase. These beds are so durable, easy to clean, and easy to assemble. They are the perfect bed for a ‘digger’ or ‘chewer’.

Our 8 month old 45 pound adopted pup chewed every single thing we put in her crate, not just chewed, but ATE stuff -- towels, blankets, expensive crate pads -- everything but the toys we put in there. She is only in the crate, with her best doggie buddy in another crate beside her, at night and if we go out (rarely). We despaired of finding anything that was comfortable that she wouldn't chew. Well, this appears to be the dog bed for her! She's slept in there for two nights now and the bed is in perfect condition!!! Usually her crate mats only last a couple of hours, so this is a miracle! It looks good too. The plastic frame is heavy duty PVC, and big enough around that she can't clamp down on it. The fabric is tough too and the bed fits perfectly in the cage.I will update my review as the days go by, but so far, it's WONDERFUL! Highly recommend! (I paid for this bed, not a freebie for a good review!)UPDATE - 6/25/20 - It's been almost a week now with Maggie's new dog bed. It's still in perfect condition - no rips, tears, scratches or teeth marks! I'm overjoyed!!UPDATE - 7/8/20 - This bed is still doing great! Still no marks, rips, tears or chew marks, which is amazing! Maggie chews on everything, but hasn't tried or hasn't managed to do ANYTHING to this bed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My pup and I love these beds so much, I bought a second one. I have the aluminium bed in my pups crate with the shorter crate legs. My pup recently outgrew his downstairs bed, and I did not hesitate to replace it with a Kuranda. For this one, I went with the Almond PVC frame. Assembly was quick and easy, and all parts well made. The elevated designed is also wonderful for warm dogs. Even through the topper, it remains cool. If you have a large breed dog and want a bed to support their joints, do not hesitate to pick up this bed!

I bought this hoping for an unchewable dog bed, and so far, the pup has shown no appetite for this terrific piece of furniture. I bought the medium size (35"×23") for my 23# dog, and the dimensions are perfect...she has room enough to stretch out alone, and can still sleep pretty loosely if a cat joins her there. My model is made of PVC pipe & a heavy canvas-y vinyl cover. I like the rubber cups that fit inside the leg bottoms...this means I don't worry about the hardwoods getting scratched up. Happy with the choice of colors. The cover fits very tightly, so while washing it is an option, it means disassembling the whole thing to do that, so I have another "bed" on top of the platform that absorbs most of the soiling. It's lightweight but feels very solid. I expect it to last for years & years. Very pleased.

I watched the video on how to put the bed together. No problem! It’s sturdy and very good quality. Getting my senior dog to sleep on it . . . a work in progress. He likes sitting on it, laying down and devouring his treat, but sleeping, not yet. 😉🐶💗

I was skeptical ordering off the internet as some of us just are. The products were promptly here on the said dates!! I put the bed together easily enough & so glad I finally got this for my dogs!!! Kuranada products are not cheap but from friends I here they are very durable so this year we will put it to test!

This thing is great for my crate. I’ve been through 5-6 beds prior to this. We’ve had this over a month and there is zero damage to it. Perfect for destructive chewers.

My 1 1/2 year old dog has sawed his way through everything. Not this bed. Very happy with it.
