Canada Wintergreen "Pink" Mints, 2lb Bag

We used to get these when we went camping a long, long time ago. These look (maybe a little smaller) and taste (exactly!) like they used to with the same 'Canada' stamped in each mint. Perfect for a quick snack. Not filling, not a lot of calories and one or two last quite a long while. We love having these back in our lives.

I was introduced to these mints over 40 years ago. My stepfather used them to quit smoking. I just plain love them and I have introduced them to my 5 nephews who have always remembered them and the fond memories we have had together over pinks as we call them. Good things can bring happy memories so buy one for you and one for a friend. We still share them with our friends and family. The company is absolutely great to work with, but you won't have to except to place your order.

After trying store bought (CVS, etc) Canada mints and getting mostly stale hard candies, I figured I would try to order them from Necco through Amazon as they are the manufacturers. The order arrived in a generic plastic zip lock bag with no Necco on it. I took one out and popped it in my mouth and it is hard and stale. The whole bag is like that. Now I have 2 pounds of rock candy! I'm not sure if ordering directly from Necco would be better. I'm disappointed but giving it 3 stars as stale Canada mints are better than none at all!

These are very good flavor. I bought them as a less expensive alternative to the Altoids mostly because I really like the wintergreen flavor. The mints are quite a bit larger (a LOT larger) than an Altoids. They do have an excellent wintergreen flavor and are the kind you just want to pop in your mouth while reading a book or something and enjoy as they slowly dissolve. Well worth the money.

I don't usually give bad review, but I received these today. I ordered two packs, as I was sure they would be really good wintergreen mints because of all of the positive reviews. I was looking for soft wintergreen candies and I thought that these would fit the bill. Let's just say that I am still looking. They arrived very quickly because of PRIME shipping and they are soft, but that is all I can say. Where is the wintergreen flavor? Where is any flavor? There is none to be found. They are just sweet little candies. Since I can't return these, I will continue on my search. Lesson learned, don't buy in bulk unless they are large packages from the manufacturer. For now, I'll go back to that iconic mint with the hole in the center. They're not soft, but they have excellent wintergreen flavor.

These arrived fresh and on time, sealed inside a cute gift box. I didn't find them to be hard, but these kind of mints usually are a bit hard until they are in your mouth for a few minutes, then they soften up. I do think that 5.24 a lb for these are a little pricy, but I guess you are paying for the packaging too.

These mints are hard and not good to bit apart in your month. However, after letting sit around for 2 months, they softened up, just as I wanted.

I enjoyed these mints as a youngster but, for many years, couldn't find them in my area. When I received these, I tore into them like a madman. They are just as delicious as I remember them! 10/10 will order again.Shipping was also very fast and the mints came in a pretty cool box that I actually kept.
