Thick & Sturdy Mat That Fits Perfectly, Hides & Protects Stained Cabinet, Easy To Clean Surface
Fun times having oral surgery during a pandemic and walking into the kitchen after a bunch of nitrous oxide and who knows what else only to feel my socks get soaking wet. Slightly confused as my pain was also setting in, I finally realized water leaked from pipes under my kitchen sink and soaked the particle board bottom of the cabinet as well as part of the floor. As I iced my face with one hand and emptied the cabinet with the other, I tossed everything that was totally soaked and took the logical next step - - took a very long nap. After, I ordered this mat as the cabinet was drying out as it looked awful and I’m sure it wouldn’t have been so damaged if I had his mat when the leak occurred as the mat is thick and sturdy with a raised rim all the way around.I'm more prepared if it leaks again, and the mat is a great addition as it looks good in grey and hides the ugly stained particle board. Plus, it’s so much better as I can routinely wipe or wash off any drips or grime that get on the mat. For size, I picked the mat that matched the internal bottom measurement. The fit is spot on. While I couldn't slide the mat straight in due to wood front and center, it was super easy to put it inside as the mat is just flexible enough that I could angle it in and slightly bend it to get it inside. The mat arrived with no funky odor, and my cabinet looks nice and clean inside. The mat doesn’t cut into my cabinet space due to the good fit, and items can be placed right on the mat. I did buy a couple plastic baskets that I could fill in a way so they fit under the pipes and disposal. It’s all way more organized, fresher looking, can be easily cleaned and the mat will provide some protection from leaks. I almost went with a cheaper mat to save money, but the quality of this one is great and it should last indefinitely. Love it. 5 stars.

Helps contain water and spills underneath the sink
The mat fits very well underneath the sink and it can hold up to 3 gallons of water if you have a plumbing leak. This also prevents problems with cleaning supplies and other items stored underneath your sink so the bottom of your cabinet is not damaged or rotted. This company was the only one that had the size that I needed so it would fit side to side on the bottom of the cabinet.I believe it is money well spent in preventing damage and possibly having to replace a cabinet. It looks to be a very durable sink mat. Very easy to install because of it’s flexibility.

Awesome product: Amazing quality, great selection of std. sizes ( = perfect fit ), nice colors
OMG! IM XTREME-ly happy with this mat. Why?1) XCELLENT quality. Thick... looks like it could survive about anything. The huge XTREME lettering won't be advertising to anyone but spiders... but design is very nice and maybe helps increase capacity somewhat.2) XTRA generous std. size selection: After measuring 3x to make sure I got THE best size for my miniscule under-sink area, I selected 22 1/4" square (beige). Guess what... Perfect fit (THANKU, std. sizes). (Before, I had a cafeteria tray under there but it only covered part of the area.)3) Florida-based business. I love supporting a US-based small business! Why no real competitors for this??? (Other options are CRAP.) Market XCIDENTALLY cornered? (XTREME-ly lucky!) Or...XPLCTly patented? Probably just that no other co. wants to go the XTRA mile. Whatever. You get what you pay for, and despite price, I do not regret this purchase AT ALL!I wish the mat were like 2" deeper (none are) but understand why it isn't: That could create issues with low valves, hoses, etc.I'm gun-shy about "water intrusion" after having all manner of leaks and other issues over 11 years due to clueless contractors, whom some bank hired to do flip (after previous owner defaulted) and whom other residents remember as being unusually noisy and constantly yelling at each other in Russian.KITCHEN:1) Year 2. Catastrophic failure of cheap & badly installed faucet (THE worst! ruined part of crappy wood-laminate, non-water-resistant flooring that said contractor had installed everywhere but bathroom)2) Year 2. P-trap3) Year 11. Rotted-out garbage disposal (and then having to crawl around to do cleanup and replace disposal despite having previously broken toe I was supposed to keep stable... XCRUTIATING)Yup, I'm familiar with everything in kitchen but a sewer backup (please spare me), leaky shutoff valve, dishwasher hose... (all I can think of at the moment, but enough).BATHROOM:1) Year 3: After three years of wondering why wall kept developing mildew, despite using vinegar, then peroxide, finally bleach, plus running two dehumidifiers, replacing toilet ring, checking behind toilet tank, etc... FINALLY pulled cabinet and discovered it was screwed into copper pipe. What kind of outfit did this bank hire??? Amazingly, screw itself held water back for years except for minor drip in wall...big mess, XTENSIVE and time-consuming repairs (copper pipe fix, dry wall/patch/paint, mold/mildew cleanup) but could have been SO much worse.2) Year 3. Shutoff valve. Very slow/small drip... but since we're there anyway...3) Year 3. P-trap. Got nudged and rebelled. So I have now ordered another of these bad boys for my dry-for-years-now-and-probably-due-for-another-disaster bath cabinet (28 1/4" x 19 1/4") direct from Xtreme to get the free sensor. (You must order direct from Xtreme for this one-per-customer deal. Mat pricing is identical to Amazon.)I'd get one for the laundry area too, but really it's not an effective solution there (emergency shutoff would be the way to go but isn't really feasible here) plus my only problems there have been electronic and mechanical (and I hope it stays that way).Oh the inherited woes of older-home-nobody-really-seems-to-have-cared-about-before adventures. Thank goodness for this XTREME-ly XCELLENT product, anyway. ;)
