Great Dance Shoe
I’ve been wearing these ballet slippers since I was a kid, and they’ve never let me down. The quality, comfort, and fit are unmatched — they mold perfectly to my feet and provide the support I need for long rehearsals and performances. No matter how many other brands I’ve tried over the years, I always come back to these. They’re durable, classic, and feel like home every time I slip them on. This is a brand I’ll stand by for life — truly a dancer’s staple.

Great Dance shoe
My daughter tried several different pairs and ultimately kept these. Most comfortable and fit her foot well. She had to dance on a rough stage and they seemed to hold up pretty well. She also uses the same brand for her pointe shoes.

Pretty and well made slipper
I started to take adult ballet last year and I love it. (I am 58.) I started with Capezios. They were good but I am having trouble with metatarsalgia. These Bloch shoes have a bit of a wider toe area and also the leather on the bottom covers a wider area, so cushions more of the ball of my foot. I don't know how much to attribute to better shoes or other measures, but my metatarsalgia is improving. (I am doing foot stretches and massage and rest as well.)I do find the straps to be on the snug side and I have pretty narrow and skinny (albeit long) feet. I got an 8.5 and normally wear a 10.5 in street shoes. I think an 8C would have worked but kept them because I don't want my toes to be squished.

-1 star for tight elastics, overall good shoe
I got these because my regular flats are a leather full sole and i wanted a canvas split sole as well. The canvas has a bit of stretch to it and is thin but strong, making it feel like your wearing a fitted sock. My leather full soles are capezio lily in size 8 narrow, my street size is usually a 7, and i got these in a 5 narrow. The fit of the actual shoe is good, but the elastic bands(around the opening of the shoe and the criss cross bands) are pretty tight. Ill try and steam them to stretch the elastics a bit to make them more comfortable, but overall these shoes are nice, and they hug your arch beautifully.

Comfy!
Best shoes ever! These were better than expected! I wear size 6.5 and fit a 5. Perfect fit. The regular 5 is a 5 C fyi. Surprised at how cushiony they are! It’s a little weird having them not be leather. I worry the canvas will get dirty.

Excellent slippers. Dance your heart away!
Arrived promptly, fit my very wide feet properly and are very comfortable at a very competitive price. Classic traditional ballet style, trippy leather soles, stretchy fabric and elastic bands, should last a long time.

BEST BALLET SHOES!
The media could not be loaded. I typically wear a women’s 7.5 street shoe, 7 in crocs or other brands that don’t have half sizes, and tend to go up an 8 in running shoes. After reading reviews and debating between regular or wide, I went with a regular 5.5, and they fit perfect!! Going 2 sizes down from street size was spot on like everyone said, and I was able to get it right on the first try, so I hope this helps!I haven’t done ballet since I was 6, I’m 36 now, and these have me ready to sign up for local beginner ballet classes. I had no idea such comfortable ballet shoes existed and at such a great price point. The color, material, and split sole are EVERYTHING. I am in love with these!!

Sizing issues, but we love this shoe.
Dancers love this shoe, it’s soft, stretchy, comfortable. We like a lot of things about, the split sole, the fact that there isn’t a drawstring, the vamp size, the placement of the elastics and that they are pre sewn. However finding the right size is always tricky for us, with growing feet still. Ordered 2 sizes smaller than street shoe size, as recommended. That shoe was way too small.. ordered shoe size, also too small. Ordered 2 sizes larger than shoe size, fits perfectly. My dancer has a street shoe size of 4, the Bloch pair that fits is a 6.5.
