The floor alert mat works perfectly, alerts at the first sign of exit from the bed. Would highly recommend.

This is exactly what I needed for someone (dementia with parkinson's) very unsteady on their feet, who also forgets the walker half the time. I needed something to alert me and this does the job perfectly and also helps by turning on light. A great help!

We rest easy having two of these for each side of my grandfather’s bed. Had to replace the battery pack on one after about a year and half of using; easily done on Amazon. Easy to wipe clean and the alarm works great, with 3 different loudness. Had to buy charging adapters separately for each mat, which was inconvenient at first.

This alarm system is Fantastic! My mother has dementia and has seriously injured herself getting up in the middle of the night to use the toilet. I bought this one because it turns on the light when they step on the floor mat. She is more confused at night and the light helps to reorient herself. The alarm is a non obnoxious chime like a doorbell, which awakens me. Simple to reset with the button, see picture. She hasn’t fallen again since before I purchased this product.

This is a great product! I used to have a wired one for my toddler because our rooms were closer together, but once we moved, our rooms became too far apart for the wired mat. I found this and was eager to try it out. I ordered the mat and the alarm monitor did not come with it.I was frustrated, but I figured I would just send it back and note that I need a replacement with the monitor. I received my 2nd one and again, there was no alarm monitor. About to call the whole thing off, I decided to reach out to the site customer service directly. I called and spoke to Michael Vaughn. He was a saint! He heard me out patiently and promptly sent me the missing monitor. He is singularly why I rated this product at a 5 star and not a 3.After the missing piece was added to the equation, everything works beautifully. The only thing I don't care for is the clicking from the monitor when the alarm/chime is turned off. I know this was intended for older people who don't "play" in their room, but I am using it for my toddler who gets up in the middle of the night.One suggestion I would make is to make sure the mat is pointed towards the alarm. Seems simple, but I had it facing under my kid's bed and the chime was hit or miss. Once I turned it around, it sounds every single time. I would definitely recommend! For old and young alike. This mat has given us so much peace of mind when caring for my Mom with Alzheimer’s. We purchased it about 3 years ago and it is used every day. We have been able to replace the battery in both the mat and the alarm easily.

We purchased this about 2 weeks ago and I set it up in my mother-in-laws bedroom. She has late stage Alzheimer's and her room is downstairs, away from our main floor bedroom. We set the pad up by her bed and keep the remote chime receiver with us upstairs. Whenever she steps on it, the chimes sound. It works as described. The chimes sound like a doorbell. It has three loudness settings. My only beef is that the chimes keep on ringing once triggered. Even if there is no weight on the pad. I understand the intention is to alert that there is movement, period. If you accidently leave the remote receiver in another room and come back to it say 15 minutes later, at least you know that your loved one has moved. But if it is in your bedroom while sleeping, just remember to turn the chime off before you go check what the movement was. Otherwise, your significant other (who was sleeping also) will be scrambling around trying to figure out how to silence it!That's minor though considering the safety factor. It really has been a positive product in our home care efforts. Worth the price. Buy a dozen C batteries, also. I have not tried the automatic light sensor yet due to the way the room is configured. Based on how well the mat works, I will assume the light sensor does too.
