So I had read a bunch of bad reviews but I figured the doll itself would be ebough for my son to overlook all the bad. I was banning on gluing the string on to the ring so it wouldn't slip off as well. When the shipping box arrived it was huge, opened it and the actually do lease was very unique and big also. My son couldn't wait to get ahold of it. It was a bit difficult to get out of the box but we'll worth it. My son's favorite toy. Our Woody doll sounds just like the one in the movie. And his pull string is very well attached. So we'll attached that when I had to wash Woody one day because my son thought it was a great idea to take Woody a bath in orange juice, I had to actually cut the string. Just like everyone else's complaint, hat doesn't stay on well. But if you force it on at a different angle it stays on great. If we are out though I do not allow Woody to wear his hat. Great Woody doll. Very glad I didn't listen to all the negative reviews. My son never plays with the same toy for too long. I've wasted a lot of money buying things he might like. This I am proud to say has been the toy I needed. He adores his doll. When he can't find him he runs around yelling Woody as if the doll might just say one day, "I'm over here."

I wanted to wait a little while before writing a review to see if the quality of this Woody doll would stand up against my wonderful, yet very descructive two in a half year old son. I'm happy to say, it has so far! He has taken it with him everywhere he has gone, including to bed. He received this Woody doll, as well as a Buzz Lightyear action figure. The Woody doll is made with quality. The vest does not come off. The pull string works very well and Woody says many different things. The only complaint, I would have, would be his hat. It does not stay on. Which very much upset him, we considered glueing it on, which we still haven't ruled out completely, but due to my son being so upset about his hat, we've had to hide it from him (out of sight, out of mind). I wish they would make it to wear his hat couldnt come off at all. However, I still gave five stars, because the hat problem is such a small issue to a wonderfully made toy, that really makes my son a happy little boy! Not only would I highly recommend this item to someone, I would also purchase, again, in the future for my friends children (who love Toy Story) as a present (birthday, Christmas, etc).

This is awesome! If your child even likes Toy Story a little bit they will absolutely love this doll! We bought it for our 2 1/2 year old girl. She is a huge Toy Story fan specifically of Woody and Buzz. She's totally stoked about it! I really like the construction of it. The doll is 90% fabric so it's comfy for her to lay down with or take in the car, not hard plastic or rubber like how I imagine Barbie and Buzz are. The only parts that aren't fabric are the face, hands, belt, boots, and hat. That might sound like a lot but those parts of his body are so small compared to his arms, legs, and torso. The hat is removable just like in the movies. The name of the kid from the movie, "Andy" is on the bottom of his boot. The string is easy to pull and it's super cute to hear your kid say the phrases too! My 3 year old nephew loves to play with him too. This is by far her favorite of her dolls and we'll keep it forever. Arrived on time and in great condition.

Mostly OK.. Was willing to pay the price for as many of the set of characters as we could for my kids. My issue with this doll, considering I didn't go for the MANY MANY cheaper versions of it, was because I wanted it to be AS CLOSE to the "real" thing.. Beside the need for a little more weight in the boots, there's a pull-string talking feature that is NOT like that represented in the Films *neither that of the actual toys of the era these guys are supposed to come from. You pull the string, indeed, but the voice action is electronic, where the string serves no practical purpose. The string is for show, where a button could do the same thing. I don't know how to describe the difference too well, but the difference is obvious and a bit disappointing (again, considering the price, and because I specifically wanted the vintage quality). I have the same issue with the Jesse doll we ordered. It's one that you might never consider looking for and it isn't detailed in any descriptions. Beside all this, the toys are awesome and come crazy close to being identical to the figures from the films. They're nice and tall. My kid's reaction to the set we got them last Christmas was so darn dope that I got over the disappointment, described here, very easily. I just thought You' all might like to know before hand so you don't feel discouraged later.

This is is a nice toy. And such a great value. I've seen this Woody doll in stores for at least $10 more than I paid here. The quality is great. His head, hands and feet are plastic. The skin and features are very clean and precise. The rest of his body is cloth. The sewing is perfect. He has "Andy" written on the bottom of one of his boots which absolutely thrilled my son. He has a pull string in the back and he says several of his lines from the movie. Thankfully, it's not real loud. He has a plastic cowboy hat as well. It just sits on his head. There's no way to keep it on there. If his head tips, the hat falls off. It would be nice if there was some way to snap it in place. But, my son loves this doll and for that reason, I give it 5 stars. I try to give fair and honest reviews for the products I buy. If this review was helpful to you, please let Amazon know.

Great woody it does indeed say there’s a snake in my boot you simple have to switch it to play and not demo one happy little girl.

Le woody reçu est parfaitement conforme au dessin animé. Tout est pareil, vraiment ressemblant! Le veston et le foulard sont bien en tissu (pas juste en impression), les boutons sont aussi de vrais boutons... La tirette dans le dos est avec un cercle en plastique rond. Il prononce plein de phrases , en anglais, mais en fait c'est sans importance! Mon fils essaie même de répéter, ça l'amuse... Je recommande, le prix est correct pour une si bonne qualité de jouet!

I bought it for RS.3690. which is bit costly but it's an imported doll so it's fine. But for the same product I have seen very high price in Amazon. The quality is good. After ordering I thought they might send duplicate doll coz many cheap companies are making toy story items. But this one is good one. Thanks to Exborders. This is the best woody you can get in India for low price. You can buy it. Talking woody has original Tom Hanks voice.

My son loved his birthday gift! Buzz and Woody live on his bed and are prized possessions. Great toys, but there is some issue with Woody’s pull string. Hopefully we can fix it. Still give it a 5 star.
