Better than Bose. Blown away!
There are three things you need to know about me: I have sensitive hearing, love bass, and I'm a huge Bose fan. These headphones are better than my Bose home speakers!Got these puppies today, plugged them in, and queued up Charles Mingus' "Haitian Fight Song." (Which, imo, is the ultimate test of any audio equipment. If you can hear Mingus doing his thang in the background without the trumpet blasting your ears off, you've got good stuff!) These headphones performed admirably; I heard stuff (like string noise) that I had never heard before!I will admit, however, that these are flat equalized, and maybe that's the difference between headphones and monitors? At any rate, MOAR BASS. So I loaded up some Type O Negative. Beautiful, beautiful, sublime and clear sound, but the bass was once again in the background, not front and center like I'm used to. So, if you're a bass nerd, you might want to EQ these to your liking.Pros: Sounds like they should cost WAY more than they do, no distortion at high (>80%) volume, super lightweight, and comfortable on my kid-sized head.Cons: Might need an equalizer if you're not happy with the flat EQ. Literally, that's my only con.

High Quality (better than some $$$ ones), Sturdy, Comfortable
I recently purchased these headphones, which exceeded my expectations regarding sturdiness, comfort, and overall quality. From the moment I unboxed them, I could tell they were built to last. Sometimes, a simple design is the best! I have gone through at least ten other expensive headphones, including Beats, Bose, Sony, etc., but I was never satisfied with Bluetooth or the ones with a cable. The materials used here feel premium. I have accidentally dropped them a couple of times, and they showed no signs of damage. When it comes to comfort, these headphones truly shine. The ear cushions are plush and soft, perfect for long listening sessions without discomfort. I often wear them for hours while working or relaxing, and I never experience any fatigue. The adjustable headband ensures a snug fit without being too tight, which is often a struggle with other headphones. The sound quality is simply fantastic. The clarity and depth of the audio elevate my listening experience. They are effective for noise canceling. It comes with a neat pouch to store it.I removed the original adapter and attached it to an iPhone adapter I purchased from Amazon, and it works perfectly.Overall, I highly recommend these headphones to anyone searching for a sturdy, comfortable, and high-quality (with a budget) option. They represent excellent value for the price.

Long Lasting and good quality
Lasted 5 years, writing this as I get a replacement. I would prefer a bluetooth model now so I am going up to the M50x. However these were top notch and lasted 5 years before breaking. The metal adjuster literally wore through the plastic, but having lasted 58 months I am not complaining. The high quality bass didn't last the whole time, but overall sound was pretty good. I tugged the cord a lot and it lasted all the punishment dealt to it. Sometimes I tugged hard enough to pull them off my head and they would fall to the ground. I also had them on a desk right on the edge and they must have fallen a good 50 times throughout their lifetime without issues.Overall, I am never trying a different brand for headphones. Tried many before, but these hit the "high quality" mark that no other headphone has come close to. If my next headphones don't last as long I'll simply go back to these again by buying another set of these. If those also don't last very long only at that point would i look elsewhere again, I am simply floored that I bought these 5 years ago for this price (60$), and got this kind of quality. The ONLY disappointment i have with these headphones is that when they broke they BROKE. The metal went through the plastic shattering it so now one earbud was dangling only by its cord with no way to hold in place anymore. However, strap a bit of duct tape to the metal and the plastic and its back where it should be and as expected it still works.I don't care a ton, but some may so I must note it again. Bass quality wore out over time. Its not terrible, but you can tell. Loses that "theater" feel to it, sounds like moderate quality headphones now which have decent bass but no "bass boost" if that makes sense. I have a set of headphones provided at work, and I can tell the difference, that high quality deep "bass" went away at some point on these. I didn't even notice until I tried a different set of headphones, so if this is your only set of headphones you won't even notice but if you care greatly about it, these headphones have it, but I don't know how long and it can wear out.Reminder, this is from a set 5 years ago. Things can change a lot for a company in that time, quality may differ from back then but in 2015 these are in my mind unbeatable at this price.
