GRAFTERS140CM STRONG WORK/HIKING BOOT LACES (Khaki/Burgundy/Black)

To be fair, there's not a lot that can be said about bootlaces in terms of a review. What I can say is that I've been using this 'Grafters' brand for a few years now and they last a good old while. I wear the same 10 hole boots day in, day out. A pair of these laces will generally last anywhere between 9 months and a year. They appear to be the genuine article, are well made (the aglet doesn't fall off and expose the ends to excessive wear) and wear through in the same place all my laces do which is caused by rubbing as I pull them tight to do them up. What's more, the price is just a steal! The local shoe-repair type shop, and those in the local market, really do rip you off by charging the same per pair as four pairs costs on Amazon; and they last much the same time. Cobblers indeed.

For some bizarre reason, in the town I live in, you can't get decent bootlaced. Doesn't matter how many shops you go to, all you'll find (if you find any laces at all) are cheap nasty laces designed for normal shoes that normal people wear. So if you're a real man who wear boots all the time as real mean should, you have to buy them online. And these are good for boots.

I purchased these laces as a replacement for some tired trainer laces I had bought just a few months ago which didn't last very long at all. These laces, however, are of very high quality and make me feel confident that they will last a long time. I would say that these laces are suitable for any 10-12 holed (5-6 per side) shoes or boots and of a durable thickness.I would thoroughly recommend them.

Bought these to replace the awful waxed cotton laces in my dr martens for life 1461 boots which last about a month a pair before the ends fall off or they fray and snapThese feel very sturdy, and can tie nice and tight without any stretchThey're lasting much better and look smart without any fraying material.They fit my 8 eyelet boots slightly longer, but I only do up 7 eyelets so are probably ideal if you lace all the way, anyway I just double knot them to take up any slack

Arrived quickly and replaced laces on my boots where the outer layer had separated from the cords, these were 150cm and if anything too long so 140cm was perfect. Re-laced boots and new laces seem to have enough friction to securely tie without excessive trailing laces. I now have 3 spare sets for when the next set of boots need replacements.

You get 4 in a pack and they are the perfect length for my new boots which arrived with laces too short to do a double knot. They seem durable enough - nothing special, won't last forever, but since you get 4 sets it should be a few years before I need to re-order. They are marked as "mixed fibres" but no indication of which fibres are in the mix.

After reading other reviews I bought these laces they look strong and we'll made, only had them in my boots for a week so a bit early to draw any conclusions but am hopeful they will last for some time, I know some of the problems with lace wear are eyelet design on the boot, butI'm happy with the purchase and bought eight pairs as I have more than one pair of boots.

Given that this is 4 pairs for only about 50p more than one pair in the market, excellent value.They are pretty long mark - a bit long for my work boots, but that is as described.Been wearing them every day for weeks & no sign of wear (original laces were breaking before that).All round good experience.
