Excellent history reading!

There are not that many good books on Assyria of late; this book though is an exception. It's well written and contains entries by experts in the field. If you specifically are into Assyrian history, then this book should be on your shelf. If you're looking for a book on ancient Mesopotamia in general, this title may be a bit too narrow for your tastes.
