Love that I can get this dog food on amazon and not have to go to store. The price is very close and I save by not picking up stuff at store that I didnt really need. Plus when I can get the huge bag, I dont have to lug it that far into house.

I bought this dog food for our dogs. They all seem to love this particular type. Beware that it has some very large chunks of dog food in it as well. I have small breed dogs but they sort of like to munch on the huge chunks. I would say they are about 1 inch diameter for the larger pieces. All the rest of the pieces are pretty small sized. Our dogs seem to love the taste and I plan on continuing to purchase this as long as they continue to enjoy it.

My picky eater shihtzu (14 yrs old) has long preferred kibbles and bits, but I give him small breed and accidentally bought this regular one. arggh. My mistake though (and was too late to cancel) I will just break these up by pounding on them a bit, as it's too hard for him to eat the large pieces. Kibbles and bits is as good of a dog food as any of the inexpensive brands, better than many. However, four stars just to indicate that these days, responsible dog owners feed their dogs grainless, no sugar added, high protein meat and vegetable dog food that costs about 4x as much. My daughter advises me that this kind (kibbles n bits, beneful, etc) of dog food is like feeding them candy bars. Whatever. Obviously, I am not a responsible dog owner. :) (Please don't tell Max!)

My dog is a very picky eater but he likes this very much and never turns it down. He seldom has a great appetite and I do not like to give him people food. I have found if I alternate between dog foods and feed him a different one every day from his favorites he it eats much better and has started choosing is own when he is hungry by pointing with his nose! I have created a fun monster as he now knows "what do you WANT means and loves to lead me to all sorts of things he WANTS"!!!! or wants to do. I think our pets are way smarter and understand much more than we ever give them credit for. Hope yours enjoy this food as much as mine does.

My pug loves this food but the vet said I shouldn't feed it to him because it is full of fillers rather than proper nutrition. I noticed his stool has become extremely soft since I started giving this to him and he poops a lot more which would make sense because the food is just going right through him. I'll finish this current bag then call it quits. This is equivalent to McDonalds food for dogs.

This variety of Kibbles 'n' Bits is our dog's favorite. The American Grill is just what it says . . . basically it is what you would find at a human cookout. The only caution I would note is the size of the bag. I didn't pay that much attention and this is a huge bag! For one dog, it will take quite a while before she will consume it all. I'm hoping we can keep it fresh for her.

I am a college student living on campus with my dog, so the availability to have this food shipped directly to me in 2 days is very convenient! Would recommend this to anyone who is busy or cant get to a major retailer to buy this product at such a reasonable price.
