STURDY AND LIGHT
I PURCHASED THE ZEIKOS 57" TRIPOD FROM BUTTERFLY PHOTO BECAUSE I NEEDED A LIGHTWEIGHT TRIPODFOR A 3 WEEK BACKPACKING TRIP IN THE ROCKIES. AT ONLY 1 LB.9 OZ. IT WEIGHS LESS THAN HALFOF MY OLD BOMBPROOF TRIPOD. IT HAS A "QUIK RELEASE" REMOVABLE CAMERA BRACKET AND A LEVELINGBUBBLE,ALONG WITH THE STANDARD HEAD AND LEG ADJUSTMENTS. I PLANNED ON THIS BEING A "DISPOSABLE" ITEM (DUE TO THE INEXPENSIVE PRICE TAG),BUT IT IS STILL VERY SERVICEABLE 4MONTHS AND MANY MILES LATER.THIS IS NOT A PRO GRADE TRIPOD (OBVIOUSLY-PRICE), BUT IS A VERYPORTABLE AND EASY TO USE TRIPOD. Lightweight, Completely portable, Plenty stable, Easy to set up
I love this tripod. It travels everywhere, easily. Once you get used to it it sets up in a flash. Suspend your bag on the cross brace to add stability in the wind. Handy, Lightweight, Inexpensive. High recommend.

Outstanding Product
This tripod is exactly as described. It is lightweight, sturdy, and easy to adjust. I am able to handle my camera like a pro using the variable positions for the tripod-mounted video cam. The camera does a great job of recording and posting video to YouTube. I am a novice for the most part, but with a little practice using this equipment, I am able videograph some very impressive scenes. Knowing what I do now, I would certainly recommend purchasing this same package. All the equipment arrived quickly and in good shape; would definitely buy from this seller again. The few negative reviews that I read were not what I experienced; a good business experience! They even called me to see if I liked the product.

Quality, inexpensive, and simple to use
I purchase this mainly to have a stable platform to record my wedding. I figured that it was cheap enough that if it got damaged from travel I would not have lost out on too much money. The tri-pod made it to and back from Jamaica in my carry on with no damage. I have sice used this for many other applications. It is compact and light which makes it easy to take with you.

about as good as you would expect it to be
If you have a heavy piece of equipment, I wouldn't recommend buying. Would be great for a small camera or maybe even a handycam, however it is very cheap amd flimsy. Broke on me my first time using it. Made from cheap plastic.

GREAT TRIPOD!
Got this tripod today for my Sanyo Xacti camcorder / camera VPC-GH2. It is very lite which I like and seems to be sturdy. It came in a short time and the price is good. I like the carrying case too. Now I am ready to take some pictures and videos. I recommend this tripod for anybody looking for one if your camera is made for it. Great product!

A very cool one to have, now that the new phones come with a timer it make it easier to take pictures. Nice to have on field trip.
