Beautiful addition to the first - UPDATED
This book was wonderful. Get addition to the fist. For some reason I'm feeling at a loss once this book ends... I feel like I'm missing an important conversation from the two main characters. I fully understand that she falls in love with him more by his actions. Just wishing I could have that last conversation with having Rya work out the root of her mind and heart. Personally I don't think that she ever felt jealous about his first mate, I just think she wanted what no one in her life ever gave her.... To feel truly wanted. She did by Dallas and his family, but she just had to work it out. Also after having a child a woman's hormones and emotions are re-justing and totally understand her back and forth at that time.UPDATE... Sitting down thinking more about the last couple chapters of this book. The last fight honestly should never have even happen. It was not necessary for her to get that upset, knowing that her hormones are going crazy on her. Also again, I don't think she was ever upset with him having a mate before her. It was just her insecurities. I really wish the author finished the book with her being so STRONG, but telling Dallas the truth about why the photo upset her and not calling Clayton for the last time (that was really frustrating) This women was so unbelievably strong throughout this whole book (one and two) and to have it end with this fight she should have and did learn from was just taking two steps back for her, not ending with her loving herself and being strong within their relationship. (that in my options is better because it was chosen by the two of them not fated.)Sorry if that was confusing!

Beautifully written
This is by far the best werewolf romance novel I have read and Iâve read a lot! Rachelle has a magical way with words! This story was gripping, thought provoking and entertaining. I loved her take on the werewolf fantasy. Loved how she used words to draw you into their âWildsâ.The story itself was emotional and I was here for every word! Couldnât put this book down!Clayton (book 1) was good, but Dallas was my favorite. I fell in love with everyone (maybe not Clayton so much), but looking back, there was growth in everyone.Looking forward to reading more from Rachelle!

Continued to be entranced...
As a continuation from the first book, this story and its characters continue to weave magic throughout. The characters continue to grow and develop and the raw insecurities and emotions relationships bring are expertly crafted in the new tale. The book series continues to capture the imagination and leave you wanting more. The author shows the complexities of human emotions as well as the joyful.side coexisting in a perfect chaos.

3 Stars
Confession time, I never read the first book: Clayton. I didnât think that I could read a story that was all about heartbreak and what sounded like downright torture without any light at the end. But something about the second bookâs blurb intrigued me, so I decided to skim it just to get the storyâs gist. That skim turned into a full read.**May Contain Spoilers**This book is NOT a light read. Itâs one that angers you, breaks your heart, and still does not quite heal it at the end. Even knowing some of what happened in the first book, by reading the second, I canât even bring myself to read it. I think it would have made me too angry to read the storyâs continuation if I had read book one.At the end of this book I didnât quite feel that everything was resolved. I still kind of felt that Rya would always be second in Dallasâ heart. What was to prevent her from being rejected again? I guess I just needed more on his part to show the love instead of telling.Part of it was that he knew how strong the bond was between true mates and then just expected her to be able to let it go when her mate was still alive. Yet, he was not letting go of his feelings, etc. for his mate who was dead. How easy it was for him because he had had his true mate completely and now could have Rya as well. All without having to make a tough choice. Rya he would not have given a second glance to if his true mate had been alive. Yet he expected her to look only at him, want only him, and deny what is essentially a part of herself. So the sacrifice, the torment, etc. was all hers.Sure, he loved his true mate and deeply mourned her, but itâs not the same thing. There is no sacrifice on his part. NONE. Even when he left Rya it was the level of a childâs tantrum at best (like a kid wanting a treat but was denied it) and he just completely wiped her from his mind. He was not tortured by his decision. Not for one second did Rya forget about Dallas. Her heart was broken, her tentative foundation crumbled, her renewed hope in love and being loved crushed. Sure, Dallas mourned and tried to kill himself over his true mateâs passing showing how the loss of her broke him. Yet he supposedly loved Rya and didnât even give her five minutes to even explain. Just ran away as fast as he could. Him pushing her to the ground just showed that he didnât respect her and his leaving showed how shallow his feelings were.Certainly if you had loved someone and knew what the loss of them was like, that when you had the miracle of love again you would treasure it that much more. If the situation had been reversed and Ryaâs mate had died and he was her second chance at love she would not have walked away. Thatâs the main difference in their character.I know no relationship is perfect. Even for fictional characters. I didnât expect perfection from Dallasâ and Ryaâs story, but I did expect more from him. Which is why I feel as though Rya will always be second in his life, because he only showed how shallow his feelings were. If she had not gotten pregnant, he probably would not have put in any more effort after tracking her down and just left again. The tracking her down part only felt like an obligation because she had saved his niece and nephews lives. This could have been 4 or 5 stars if Dallas showed his love. If he would have fought for her. If he would have had compassion.Having read the reviews for the third book in the series I will not be reading it. Apparently his brother Cassius/Cash is even worse. From what I understand he does not show any love, etc. for Treajure, has sex with another woman, etc. yet she is expected to mate him. He never redeems himself, shows remorse, or demonstrates any love for her. Funny how these brothers think. Itâs always the woman who is held to the highest standards and expected to sacrifice all. I donât need to put myself through that. Heck no.

good read
At some points I get tired of the strife and repetition, but I think itâs a great read. I would read it again.Rya is a unique wolf who has been rejected multiple times in her life and left unsupported by the people she loves the most. Her birth pack is lacking the comfort and care for her that it should have had. She finds her way and find love. She even gives him a Chance.

Where you find yourself
The second part of The âWildflower Seriesâwill break your heart again and again and mend it back together. The journey of Rya goes on here and with each chapter there comes a she wolf meant to find a beautiful inner being and her own woman out. Her selfless personality and honesty ist refreshing, we donât have a bunch of perfect protagonists here as the story continues. Most chapter are beautifully painful and had me crying. I love the sensual darker world of the wolves which have a human side that isnât the dominating part of the shifter in Mills stories. What I missed in most of the shifter stories I read so far was always this touch of hers. That they are more animal as humans in behaviour that makes them what they are.But a change in my opinion about some characters I once had was there as well and that is the magic of Rachell Mills writing. It helps the reader mend once heart, find a little/big part of yourself and grow with the characters. Search for yourself afterwards, look at things differently. You just need to be open for it. Itâs been a while I read the story for the first time and now having my paperback in my hand and reading it again showed myself how much I got over some things and grew into myself as well. For all pararomance lover a must read. Beware itâs hot!
