Kills bugs real good
Came to these from The Wirecutter's review. This thinned my apartment's cockroach population dramatically. I had been having several cockroaches show up every night in various placed for several weeks, and these killed most of them very quickly. I've been getting up after six hours of sleep regularly to go pee, and I had gotten in the habit of turning on a dim light and grabbing my salt shotgun and shooting them for a while before going back to bed. Removing the cockroaches from my apartment has improved my sleep dramatically. A few recommendations for use: - Buy twice as many as you think need. You'll end up wanting to cover more rooms, or to cover each room more thoroughly. Cockroaches tend to find safe habitats and scavenge for food around just that habitat, so you need to put traps where they'll find them when foraging. - The adhesive is not great. I've left them directly on my floor, but the traps are small enough that I don't notice them. - Cockroaches /do/ migrate sometimes, so be warned that they might have expanded to places that you haven't trapped yet. I didn't know that they had migrated to my bedroom, so I needed to add more traps there. When a cockroach dies, I've been just vacuuming it up with the wand from my vacuum cleaner. Also be careful to look for and vacuum up egg sacs (small black pellets). I had to switch from eating black beans to eating pinto beans during my cockroach problem to simplify sac identification. When a cockroach is poisoned, it can tend to wander around slowly like a drunk little bug. It took a full week for my cockroaches to explore my apartment and see all the traps. Many found the traps during the first night and died, but not all. It took me a few days to find the ones in my bedroom, so that delayed the end of the infestation. My cockroaches only come out at night. When I notice a cockroach, I grab my fly-swatter salt shotgun and shoot it. Cockroaches can sense and avoid big things coming after them, but they don't understand salt grain shots. They don't react to noise, so if the gun discharges but doesn't hit them, they don't move. The pain from the pellets (but only the pain) makes them freak out and run. Their evasion patterns are erratic because they assume that there's a predator they don't understand. I refuse to put these on my kitchen countertops, so the only bugs that I see now are the bugs whose scavenging grounds are my kitchen countertops.

Actually works
Update: worked well and ran out after a little over 3 months so I bought a competitors version that was on sale. And the other traps didn’t work as well. I’m going to stick to these ones. I was skeptical these would work but I’ve used the same brand’s ant traps before which worked very well so I thought I’d give it a try. I live in a tropical climate, and once a month a ginormous roach will appear in the house to say hi. I scream. Whole family freaks out. It’s a mess. I got these to try and put one or two in the corner of EVERY room and bathroom. Now, every couple weeks I will find a slow moving smaller roach that obviously ate the bait, or a ded one. I haven’t had any more giant ones scare the living daylights out of me since I got these. Highly recommend.

Easy to Stick Anywhere – Great Preventive Option
I don’t have a roach problem, but I like to use these as a preventive measure just in case. The adhesive backing makes them super easy to stick under sinks and behind furniture. I love that they can go on walls or flat surfaces without being messy. I can’t say how well they work for a full infestation, but for peace of mind and prevention, they’re perfect. The clear top is a nice touch too, you can actually see if anything’s been caught.

Your time is numbered ROACHES!
So, have you ever bought a fancy cockroach trap? These are the fanciest cockroach traps I have ever used. They feel fancy in their little packaging. They come with adhesive tape, allowing you to conceal them wherever you want. Finally, I feel like I've mastered my roach-killing game. There's not much to say about these; they're incredibly sturdy and well-built, which is unusual for a roach trap. They have no smell at all. Plus, they're great because they can be hidden just about anywhere, thanks to the four pieces of included double-sided foam tape. Would I recommend these? Yeah, absolutely. They're really, really effective. Roach bait stations. I'm still seeing roaches, but more dead ones than live, which I guess is a good sign. We'll see, and I'll update this review as I continue to use the product. But so far, so good.

No bait missing after months. Roach poop present. Not for large roaches???
For several years I have kept liquid roach bait in the cabinets where I know the roaches visit in our home. I rarely saw any roach poop. I put these up and no bait disappeared, but poop did appear :( I put the liquid back in and no more poop. We have large roaches ("Palmetto bugs"). I see some reviewers said these worked for large roaches, but not in my case. I will try removing the top as on reviewer mentioned.

Just another roach trap on the floor
I purchased the Multi-Surface Roach Bait and Traps, 6 pkg., from Amazon. I have rarely found anything as frustrating as trying to attach the adhesive strip to the back of the trap. Even precision coaxing with the edge of a razor blade could not separate the backing from the strip. What good is selling a product that touts as its innovative feature the ability to apply it to multi-surfaces when the strip has no way to adhere to the trap? Even better, what good is purchasing one?? Does adhesive age that quickly? As the option to apply the traps vertically was the reason I purchased Terro's product, I am very disappointed. It is difficult to hold any positive expectations of effectiveness with compromised placement.

Rid my 5 year roach problem!
Thank goodness for this product! We let a friend stay with us during Covid in 2020. Unknown to me he brought some unwanted visitors with him and it was about 6 months before I realized it so they had really taken hold and we had an infestation. I tried every product on the market and many natural remedies. We even moved and I sprayed ever box and piece of furniture with roach spray and we still had them in our new home. I battled them for years and was resigned to just living with them for the rest of my days, but hated it. Then my daughter told me she heard that Torro was a great product. I ordered 2-6 packs and put one in everyroom and several in the kitchen. I had to keep checking them and replace when the bait was eaten up( the faster it goes it lets you know how many bugs you have). Finally, hallelujah! No more bugs! I noticed if I got up during the night and went in the kitchen no bugs running from the light and the traps had all the bait left. So finally after 5 years, Torro, got rid of all our pests! If you have a bad infestation just keep up with changing them and be patient. Do not be cheap and buy enough traps to cover your home. I would say at least 1 in each room and several in the kitchen/bath(they go for the water). Put a trap anywhere you see them in your home. Be patient and vilagent, it will get rid of them. Caution- do not put them where dogs can get to them. I know it's supposed to be safe for pets but if your dogs love to chew like mine and can get to them they will chew open the plastic and eat the bait. The same smell that attracts the bugs attracts the dogs. One of our cheweenies got one and ate it. Thank goodness she was ok. Just be sure to put the traps in places the animals can't get to. It is easier since you can stick them higher up on the wall. Great product ! I would give this product 10 stars if I could!!!
