Works well.
With the lead weights it sinks fairly fast and the 1/4β mesh catches smaller bait without too much gilling. With the open horn the hand line tends to pull down into the horn and leads tend to tangle. Also the thin cord used to attach the net mesh to the lead line is thin and tends to break or separate.Had to reattach with mono uni knots.Overall the net performs well compared to more expensive nets.

quality
This cast net has a good balance and a good weight ratio. Sinks at a good rate with small enough holes to catch small glass minnows... I originally purchased the net to catch a midget that I frequently saw rummaging through my trash. After a little practice I was able to Cast the net almost flawlessly every single time. I set up a steakout behind my neighbor's trash cans and like clock work he showed up right at 9:00 p.m.. With the flick of the wrist I let her fly and sure enough I snagged the midget. He did struggle for a bit and managed to tear a small hole which I was able to repair with ease. Upon inspection I realized it was not a midget and in fact was one of the neighborhood children who was collecting cans out of the trash to recycle. Well egg on my face 5 stars.

as per advertised
heavy net for a six footer sinks quickly and opens very nicely so far seems to be fairly durable

Ahi USA 600 Pro Series 6 Panel Cast Net - 6-Feet radius
Ahi USA 600 Pro Series 6 Panel Cast Net with a 6' radius is a quality net for bait. It will be all I will need for getting crab trap bait and fishing cut bait in the future. It is a good quality net with a little more weight to sink a little faster. This is my only net, but it seems to throw easily, with a little practice and opens well. Quality materials and weights.

Decent net but it tangles very easily. No
Decent net but it tangles very easily. No, it's not from me lol. I throw a perfect cast each time but the brail lines tend to wrap the lead lines after empting the net. If I untangle before throwing, usually get a cast or two before untangling again. Good for the price, not a professional net though.

Do not buy this net.
The net is made of quality material but the net I received is not like the net in the picture. The net I received does not have the cross in the horn that keeps the braille lines and hand rope from going through the horn. The braille lines drop down to far and become tangled in the lead line. I thought this may have been a mistake, just a bad net, so I ordered another one and it was the same way. Even the cheaper nets I own have a piece to keep the hand rope from going through the horn. If I would have received a net like the one in the picture, I would have loved it. I do not recommend this net, especially for more than $100.

Cheap Box - Decent Net
I spreads great, sinks good due to its heavy weight. The mono looks mighty thin, but that is why it sinks good.Like everyone else, mine arrived with a broken box. Can you say "CHEAP"? I caught a sting ray on my first throw. did not know there was an oyster bead down there. But I found no holes afterwards.

awsome net, poor container
The net is awesome and I can't wait to use on my Florida vacation. the container on the other hand was broke in five pieces upon opening. would be nice to have a carry case that is more durable. I would recommend this product to a friend.
