Must have for any boater kyaker or personal watercraft
This is the perfect knife to have on board. I have an inboard ski boat and am constantly making iUp dock lines for mooring or having to cut a rope or strap around a ski vest or tube. This knife is great for working close and not worrying about poking a hole in a tube or a passenger. Plus when its closed i turn it upside down and use the raised part of the blade to open my fuel cap.

handy little FLOATING knife
I was concerned about this knife's quality due to the price but I've found it to be a very handy little knife to have around. We use it while fishing in our inflatable RIB boat and I love the fact that it doesn't have a point to accidentally poke a hole in our boat. FLOATABLE is wonderful when out on the water and it folds into it's handle for protection. Stainless steel keeps it from rusting and corroding. We tied a string through the handle so we can hang it around our wrists. I'm not sure why the blade has a loop cut-out on the tip (maybe a bottle opener) but I like the knife and give it 5 stars for durability, design, function and price. Handy

floating rescue knive
Well made, floats good and easy to see, opens with one hand, nice blunt tip And very sharp. I put a piece of polypropline line thru the hole in the handle so I can slip it ove my wrist and not drop it if I have to use it to cut a fishing line leaning over board.. I carry it in the pocket of my life vest when I go fishing and or kayaking. I brought the knife for emergency use ,incase I had to cut my self free from a boat line or most likely a fish line. I plan on getting a few more as presents, and one for my waders. It shure beats stabbing your self with a sheath knife or puting a hole in your in your life vest.

Why a floating knife?
When you get rope or anything else wrapped around a prop or a prop shaft, 3 things come in very handy: swim mask, cheap/plastic dipped gloves (to protect your hands from cuts) and a floating knife. A fish filet knife with enough cork on the handle would work too. This one folds and goes with the boat tools, gloves and mask.

Great design
A perfect knife for boaters. Serrated edge cuts lines quickly. Easy open/close. And it really does float!
