I wont lie, this book is extremely informational about your condition. This book and his website have me answers that no doctors have been able to explain to me. Howerver he does not give any solution or steps to recover. He recommends you call his office and join his program. I spoke to him myself and his program sounds promising however it will cost an arm an a leg. The program he designed for me was 10 weeks (but one year to completely heal) The first session would be 1200$ then 200$ a week for 10 weeks. and then 200$ every follow up visit. He gave me an option to talk to his son instead which was half the price. But as a young mother of 3 young children living off one small income, there was no way I could afford it, so I was left feeling discouraged and no where to go. Dr. Lam was also not very pleasant on the phone. My call was very rushed. He kept cutting me off and telling me his program was my only hope and that if I continued on I could develop atrial fibrilation! He also said If I didnt follow his program just as he said he would drop me and not treat me. He aslo expects you to buy his supplimments. For those who can afford it, it may work for you, but Im having to start over and continue to seek someone who can help me without me having to wonder if I should feed my children or use the money to get help. If i can save the money I may try his program but there are some positives and some red flags with the book and program. Dr. Lam is very expierenced but also runs a business and so please beware.

Must have information for sufferers of adrenal fatigue syndrome
My review is going to be a comparison of Dr. Lam's book and Dr. Wilson's book and protocols.I have Hashimoto's and third stage adrenal fatigue. I've had Hashi's for 15 years. With Dr. Lam, I finally figured out that my issue is "adrenal fatigue syndrome," NOT just adrenal fatigue. I am actually taking Dr. Wilson's adrenal quartet, which has helped me immensely. (I also have Dr. Wilson's book.) Dr. Lam offers a similar adrenal fatigue regimen, but right now I'm not sure if I should try to switch from Dr. Wilson's adrenal supplements to Dr. Lam's - I may do so in the future.BOTH Dr. Lam and Dr. Wilson have discovered the hypoglycemia - adrenal fatigue link, and they both offer an extended-release vitamin C as part of their supplement regimens, which is a critical component of adrenal fatigue. The blood sugar roller coaster of hypoglycemia is one of the prime reasons for adrenal-related fatigue and depression. These two doctors have made me aware of that. Dr. Lam also explores psychological aspects of adrenal fatigue syndrome, and advocates simplifying one's life as a part of recovery, as well as diet modification, reduction of chemicals, and other critical life modifications. Dr. Lam points out that stress reduction may include eliminating stressful relationships from your life (when possible).I found Dr. Lam's book overall more comprehensive in addressing all aspects of a person's life in recovering from adrenal fatigue syndrome. I have only been using Dr. Wilson's adrenal protocol for 36 days. Dr. Wilson's web site says it could take up to three months to see a difference, or even two years, depending on the state of the person's health. I am very encouraged in how much better I feel after 36 days.At the end of three months on Dr. Wilson's adrenal protocol, I am going to evaluate my progress, and then decide: 1) If I should consider using Dr. Lam's adrenal protocol, and 2) If I should use Dr. Lam's coaching services. In summary, I think both of these doctors offer a tremendous service for people suffering with adrenal fatigue syndrome. In May of 2014 I had what was likely a major adrenal crash, I now understand from reading the work of these two men. (I have a similar story to many of you - spent 14 years going from doctor to doctor, GPs, endos, integrative docs, and none was able to help me.)Using Dr. Wilson's protocol and reading Dr. Lam's book have given me more hope and help than anything else I have tried in all the time since I was first diagnosed with Hashimoto's.

Excellent for very advanced adrenal fatigue/ chronic fatigue/ fibromyalgia
If you have very advanced Adrenal Fatigue, this guy gets it. This is the only doctor (besides my doctor) that understands everything involved when you have very advanced Adrenal Fatigue/ Chronic Fatigue/ Fibromyalgia (They are all the same- they just express different symptoms for each of us). For example, no one else really addresses how the liver is involved, or pancreas, or tinnitus, or hormones or what's going on with the muscles as well as Dr Lam. I hate the Wilson work because it doesn't address those of us that are very advanced and have all these issues and many, many more. Dr Lam offers ideas on healing that are gentle enough for people like me to tolerate. Those of us that are advanced usually have oppositional responses to supplements, medication and food and this guy gets it!This is a huge chunky book. Dr Lam has a lot of the same material available online as articles, but this is the comprehensive compendium of it!If you don't have a doctor that is your partner in regaining your health and healing your supposedly "incurable" condition, please find a doctor that does "integrative medicine" or "functional medicine" that understands your conditions and can meet you where you are at. This book can also help you on your path to healing. It has really helped me. I refer to it all the time.I especially appreciate Dr Lam's graphical chart of the cascade of my symptoms and advancement of Adrenal Fatigue through time- it's the only accurate assessments I've seen!

It is all there...
It is a very detailed look at the condition, which I have had diagnosed by Harley street practitioner. All Drs in the U.K ignore this serious condition because it is not healed by drugs and so there is no money in it for the drug companies or them either! I feel this book is hard to fully understand and implement without some medical training.

Wonderful book . Really explains so clearly & in detail whats happening & how to fix it &what to expect. A scary eye opener for someone whose adrenal tests came back so- called normal when in fact I have advanced adrenal fatigue. Combine this book with dr lams e-mails &videos Take it slow. Its a long haul back. I wish I had found this information years ago.
