Worked great with a little modification for the Kenmore Elite He4
I bought this to fix a broken heating element. It came with all the other parts to which is awesome for $35. I watched a few videos and taking apart the dryer was pretty easy. After diagnosing the parts it seemed like it was the element. I pulled that out and it was broken in one spot. One good bonus was cleaning everything out inside and the vent. This heating element wasn't perfectly compatible with the old one. The element looked exactly the same but the metal bracket holding it was a little wider due to the flanges on the side. Maybe there are directions provided to fix this but i just noticed you can bend the flanges and then it fit fine. It fit in pretty easy after that. So far no problems and its working great. I also now have all the other parts if something else goes wrong. So just be prepared for Kenmore Elite He4 it won't be exact but yo can make it fit.

Most parts fit, very intuitive to replace one for one parts, very cost effective
It covered a wider variety of models, you might have to figure some things out because they aren't really labeled and the things you pull out like the original thermostat will look nothing like the replacement parts. Most issues can be resolved by a quick online search for replacement parts, it went very quickly. One to one swap was great, the new element is perfectly machined to fit the old shroud, no fighting with any of it, what a nice change from some appliance replacement parts kits. Cheap way to make your dryer good as new!

Well worth the price!
It was going to cost us $300 to have a repairman do this so why not spend $30 and try yourself? It was difficult to get to but easy to install. The thing I liked the most was it had optional fuses so you could select what matched your dryer. The thing that was the most nerve-wracking was it was missing a spot for a grounding wire that my old element had. I just taped the wire to the chassis and crossed my fingers. I've been using it for a month and it works perfectly! Definitely a moment of pride to have saved so much money!

Works as advertised! Do it yourself!
This worked in my 2007ish whirlpool dryer. Unfortunately I had to remove the dryer barrel to get to it. On a difficulty scale of 1-10 I would give this a 5 or 6 for a newbie… and like a solid 2 pain in the axx for a handyman. This is about a 2 hour job to replace on a whirlpool. Bring the vacuum… you are about to clean your poor old dryer out!! It may seem intimidating but a dryer doesn’t have a lot to it and is fairly easy to tear apart for the handy-minded person that doesn’t want to spend $600+ for a repair man. You probably have about 15 years of lint in there. Prepare to get linty and good luck… you can do it.

Did not last
This heating element only lasted 5 months!! I shouldn’t have to be buying another one in that short of time! Would not recommend!
