Awesome sunscreen
I’ve been using the CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 for more than 2 years, and I’m really impressed. I have sensitive, combination skin and struggle to find sunscreens that don’t break me out or cause irritation. Its lightweight and creamy, and although it does leave a slight white cast at first, it blends in well after a few minutes especially if I apply it over moisturizer. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free and packed with ceramides and niacinamide, which help keep my skin feeling calm and hydrated. It wears nicely under makeup and doesn’t make me greasy throughout the day. I also love that it’s a 100% mineral sunscreen, which feels gentler on my skin compared to chemical options.

Body vs Face
This product is for the BODY and is much whiter on the skin than the FACE product. Does not rub in easily. More titanium dioxide? I accidently ordered it, as its not easy to gleen from the website that its for the BODY not the FACE. FYI No returns. Love the FACE product and use it daily.

This is an embarrassing product...
I like the rest of Cerave's line up, I use a ton of their other products. Their Skin Renewing Night Cream is probably one of the best moisturizers on the market at this moment and can go toe to toe with some of the big expensive brands you'd find at Sephora. I use their Diabetics Dry Skin Cream all the time and it's positively divine, so much so that I haven't bothered to test out other brands. It's just that good. This? This thing? I genuinely can't believe this is amongst their other products. I read a couple of reviews saying it leaves a white cast and I, looking for a way to make my fair medium skin tone lean more towards the fair end thought "hey, maybe it will lend me just enough to lighten me up a hair."No.I only used a tiny dab, not even the full amount you're SUPPOSED to use on your face and not only did it leave me with a white cast but with a blue-ish grey-ish cast that genuinely made me look like I had died about 6 hours ago. UNBELIEVABLY bad cast. And I'm a white person! If that leaves a cast that intense on me, I can't even imagine what kind of cast it would leave on someone darker than me!I get it, this is probably purely a physical sunscreen, its probably all zinc or mineral or something like that in there and the point is that is creates a literal physical barrier so that the uv light can't penetrate through or it bounces off. You can't have a physical barrier without it existing, that's literally impossible. HOWEVER. The fact that it's THAT bad of a blue grey cast??? What are we doing here?????

Great but leaves white sheen
Great stuff but the Cetaphil seems to work just as well as sunscreen but doesn't leave as much white sheen

Excellent mineral sunscreen for dry skin
I’m 31 years old with dry skin, and I decided to try CeraVe’s mineral sunscreen based on all the great reviews. It did not disappoint! The formula is lightweight but hydrating, absorbing well. It feels gentle on my skin and provides great protection. Perfect for daily use, especially for dry skin like mine.

Thick and sticky
I was disappointed in this sunscreen. I had been using another brand that I loved and they quit making it, so I thought I'd try the CeraVe, as they have such a great reputation for skin care items. First, this is a very thick and sticky cream. It is difficult to spread over your face and neck, and it will certainly leave a white cast if you don't make sure and rub it in well. Even then, I thought my face looked slightly white. I can't say whether or not it actually works, as I never wore it to the beach or a day out in the sun, but I assume it does block the rays. I can say that after wearing it during the summer and getting hot and sweaty, my forehead would feel grimy and I could rub off pills of discolored cream. Kind of disgusting. I will continue to use this tube but will not purchase again. The search for a replacement goes on.

Excellent quality and coverage for price
Okay this has a nice thick texture with excellent coverage. I can apply with hands but I prefer a sponge. I will keep buying this. I prefer it over my elta MD tinted sunscreen. I also think it has a similar dewy look compared to Ilia.

Try something else
This is my second mineral sunscreen ive tried, i honestly think its worse than the La Roche Posay brand because it makes me look like james charles and i dont use makeup so i have nothing to attempt to make myself look human again- i dont know what to do with this. The whitecase doesnt fade away AT ALL so unless you have some sort of powder that is your skin color to cover the white cast with i would probably say get La Roche Posay's mineral sunscreen instead. The only downside to that one is that i had to mix it with lotion to make it not leave crusty bits, but it leaves no white cast at all.
