Extremely outdated. Get an R4 instead.
I bought this flash cart in hopes that I may run backups of my favorite DS games. Not only did it refuse to run retail backups, but most games DESIGNED for flash carts didn't even run. However, the ones that did run worked exactly as they should. This product works, but it's incredibly outdated. You're seriously much better off buying an R4 or other comparable flash cart, seeing as support for this card officially ended a long time ago. By the way, if you DO get an R4, make sure you get it from the official R4 website.

If I could give it 0 stars I would
Had one of these a decade ago when I was younger and it's essentially the same device; except it doesn't work. When plugging it into my DS Lite the screen loads and then shows a black screen. When plugging it into my PC I get an error to format the drive but then it does not let me. Obviously there isn't any software loaded on it like their used to be or I just got stuck with a faulty device. Regardless I'm very upset!

nice item if you are into Homebrew gaming
If you own a Nintendo Ds (Original and/or Lite) and you want to experiment in Homebrew gaming and apps then this is a good item to have.
