Workshop setup, subwoofer makes it amazing!
Quality sound, lacks sub bass. Mounted behind dual monitors in my workshop. I'm glad it has an aux for a subwoofer. Added a 10" subwoofer below the desk and it sounds 10 times better allowing the soundbar to do most of the mids and highs. I use a Pyle pre-amp with volume knob for ease of use instead of the controller. If you can add even a modest subwoofer to your setup do it, worth it!

4 Stars for the Cost
i have a 2019 Insignia 1089 smart Fire Stick HDTV that has begun to sound like actors are in a coffee tin. or even the string can telephones from the 70s. so i got this affordable speaker to prevent needing to upgrade to a brand new when the color and smart features still work fine. programming the remote, syncing with cable, ect. is such a hassle. plus, i can't find another Insignia with these features in a 40".this is pretty long - guessing 2-3 feet at least, almost as long as my TV - and dense/hefty. so where you decide to put it is important. not sure how anyone has space or beefed latches to hang it, but i have a TV armoir and it sits right in front of the TV, especially since the cords were not that long.i wanted a blue tooth unit for ease and no cords, but when i did a quick couple reads on how to get the best sound out of these bars, everyone said the HDMI ARC cable was the best bet. connecting via the ARC port is the 3rd of 3 options in the instructions on how to connect to a TV. i had an extra ARC cable that Cox techs left. once the ARC was connected to both the sound bar and the TV, i tried it out and VOILA! big base came booming out and my puppy noticed right away that the sound had improved.for now, i did not connect anything else except the ARC & power cord. don't know if i need the USB or (forgetting the) other cord, but do plan to hang onto them and the box and instructions. the remote was easy enough to get set up and has base and treble but VOL needs to be set considerably higher to hear well. normally leave classical music on for the animals at 15 but will need to set it almost quadruple that on this bar. the bar also has music, move, and dialogue settings. this is great for movie sound fx but also to flip back for times you can't hear what the actors are saying.for the cost, it is a solid, easy to install unit. i would rx.

Yes, the bass is really solid.
I get so scared buying speakers claiming the bass is incredible honestly. Took another gamble and this one knows how to pack a punch. For what this is worth, I'm honestly very surprised. It does pack a super nice punch to music, and good for cinematic experiences. If you want even more bass you can purchase the subwoofer from the same company, although that may be just a smidge overkill, unless you want ultimate bass.

For the price, it is good.
Snagged this item while it was on sale. Got a 80w, 34" one first and placed it in a smaller (carpeted) loft space as a supplement to the Televisions built in speakers. It was decent sounding and triggered us to buy a second while they were still on sale.Purchased the exact same item in 100w, 40" for the living room and I am a little bit LESS impressed with the item, probably because it is a much larger open concept room (living, dining & Kitchen) and the space could use a better quality system than this one. For around $80 though it is definitely an upgrade from the TV's built in speakers while we save to upgrade to one of those Big name versions in the near future.CONS: The built in blinking (indicator) light is tough to see unless you are directly in front of the speaker as it seems to be hidden beneath the speaker fabric. The light does not blink, or there is no indicator rather, when tapping the remote to indicate it is sensing you pushing the volume buttons & since they are slow to adjust the volume it take a few clicks before you can really hear a change in the volume - if I could change one thing it would be that.PROS: We had little to no difficulty connecting via Blue tooth to our (I)phone for music or using the fiber-optic(?) cable included to connect to the televisions (our tv bracket gave us more of a headache because it was blocking a port we needed). Again, we cause this item on sale so $65 for the smaller one & $80 for the bigger was a DEAL.Overall for the price this speaker amplifies the sound volume, but if you are looking for high quality movie theater style, seat shaking bass this likely will fall flat for you. but if you want to increase the volume with decent sound quality then I think you have found something worth the price.

Great Sound
This is the second Bestisan sound bar that I have purchased. Bigger one this time for a bigger TV. Both sound good. Great value for the cost.
