10pc Applied Magnets 1.26" x 1/4" with Countersunk Hole Neodymium Disc Rare Earth Magnet w/Screws

I'm not a 'youngster'.... 'Retired' Engineer. (But an Engineer is never, ever 'retired' really! Right, Scotty???) As such, I just love super-magnets! Bought lots of them off Amazon, and elsewhere. These are, BY FAR, the most powerful super-magnets that I've ever seen! By far. I say again, BY FAR!!! They, quite literally, defy gravity! You'll get them in a 'stick' with polyethylene or polypropylene separators. Never throw these separators away. They're worth their weight in gold! Slide the magnets apart and put on something ferrous with the separator between the magnet and the ferrous material. But, be careful, these things have knack for slinging the separator out of the way, just so it can pinch the CR## out of your finger. A couple of teaspoons of blood later, you will be wizened enough to be very, very cautious with these babies!!! DEFINITELY NOT FOR KIDS, or anyone else younger than 68! Remember: SLIDE APART, and NOT PULL APART!!!

These magnets are incredibly strong. They are honestly difficult to separate. However, they are brittle. Two of them chipped when I dropped them from 2ft. Be careful.

These magnets are very powerful, so read and follow the safety guidlines sent in the packaging. If two come together in your hand, it is very easy to pinch your skin and do damage, so be careful!Safety issues aside, they have incredible holding strength for all sorts of applications. The only gripe is the coating tends to peel rather quickly when used outside, which leads to rusting and eventually breakage. Other than that they are fun to play with and definitely have plenty of holding power. Would recommend.

I put some on my work cart, and bolted some more to my electrical bags. I use them to hold tools, screws, wirenuts, or anything else I might need for a moment. Magnets, tool of the year for sure. I am getting all my co-workers, and boss addicted to them as well.Magnets are a underused technology. I find many uses for these strong magnets. Best one is finding building framing members, or studs, behind walls. Works on drywall, plaster, wood and metal studs. Does not work through exterior plaster walls. You need a big magnet, and you can find the nails, or screws holding the drywall to the wood.

Used 10 of these to fasten 3/4” panel to side of built in refrigerator. In retrospect, I probably could’ve used 6 or 8, but with 10, it’s as though it was fastened with screws, it’s still possible to pry it off, but it won’t come off easily I thought deliberate effort.
