I just had shoulder surgery and was in search for a trackball type mouse where I didn't have to move my arm much. Because of my job I spend 7-8 using a computer and this mouse has been great. It took a day or so to get used to, but with some adjustments with the Microsoft mouse settings it has been great. I did have a time when lateral movement of the mouse was not very responsive so I removed the trackball and blew into the seating to remove any possible dirt or dust and it seemed to have fixed the issue. Can't comment on battery life nor durability since I've only had it for a week. It was super easy to connect. Just plug-and-play.

Love this for sore wrists and mobility!
This is great. I have to have a roller ball mouse and none of the vertical mice have that which are more ergonomic than twisting your wrist flat. Some people complain that you can’t clean the ball on this; you can! I used a fork tine to push the little dot on the left side (see photo) downwards to unlock, then smacked it onto my palm and the ball and circle came off to clean. It was slowing down a lot so I knew it needed to be cleaned as most roller ball mice need.

Best I've Found
I paid about $29. Does what I need. Trackball pretty good. Scroll wheel handy. Left click, right click, and enter buttons. I don't expect to use the laser pointer, don't see the need for two right click buttons, and would have preferred to have a button assigned to "previous slide." However, you can go back to prior slides with the scroll wheel, so it's not a big issue for me. I find the shape comfortable with a little practice on how to keep it steady when you're trying to click and drag. Don't know about battery life yet. I was almost unable to read the tiny print of the instructions even with my magnifiers. I liked this enough better than the wired handheld mice I have that I ordered a wired one for use at home. Since I started using this and an ergonomic keyboard my hands do seem to hurt less. So.....not perfect, but does what I need, the best of its kind I've found, and costs about half of some of the others.

2 units failed. not worth it.
ok, i got this and got it working with no problem. no mouse falling asleep as i read in the comments. i mean, it did but it woke up immediately. it took a couple of days of steady use to get comfortable with it. i was talking it up and the wife wanted to try it on her laptop. she didn't care for it but i told her to give it a couple of days.2 days later...so, i had to order another one cause she won't give it up. it helps her arthritic hand.now, since i ordered it, and since our computers are on a long desk, where we can sit side by side, 2 feet apart, i am wondering if they are going to interfere with each other.i won't know until friday, but i will offer up another review to let you all know.3 days later:ok, the second one came in. no problem in setting it up. problem is, when it locks up it wants to stay locked up.it is an intermittent problem, however, if it continues i will send it back.stay tuned.25 days later...yeah, it locked up for about 45 minutes, and not the first time. i was just a few days b4 the return window and just barely got it dealt with in time. i had had it with it working sporadically.i will say it's a nifty product, and i wish it kept working.my wife's unit works fine. doesn't lock up at all.i'll get another gadget but of a different brand.3-26-21: ok. the second unit failed. these are nice concepts but they don't work for very long. the first one died in 3 weeks, and the second one died in 3 months. that's too bad, we really liked it.

Very handy
This gadget has been a great addition to my classroom. It keeps me from being glued to the computer at the back of the class…now o can be anywhere in the room and operate my computer as if I’m standing right next to it. I have a fairly large hand for a girl so it is a little too small, but for someone with an average sized hand I’m sure it would fit well.

Returned after USB fell apart
I got two days of light use when the connection was lost. Went to unplug and plug it back in to ‘fix’ it when the dongle fell apart. Laser pointer was cool, wish my replacement ergo mouse had one.

When it works it's great
Great mouse but it is poorly made and quits working repeatedly. You have to do the rounds of "what's wrong this time?" every single time. Unplug and replug the usb connector. Still doesn't work? Check the batteries. Still doesn't work? Clean the rollerball & sensors. Still doesn't work? Who knows? Maybe it will work tomorrow!Seriously, I've re-purchased this mouse a couple of times because it's the best ergonomic option out there. But the quality of the product is not good. I can only actually use the mouse about 2/3 of the time. Can't use it right now because it's not working.I'd suggest NOT buying this mouse because you will get used to it and love how it works, then it will stop working and make your work life miserable. You will get tired of yelling at it, wondering why it isn't working, troubleshooting, and then breaking down and using your touchpad. It's not worth it.

Make sure to plug-in usb connector before using
Item was exactly what was advertised. Works flawlessly Great if you dont have a lot of room for a desk mouse. Would certainly recommend !

Comodidad, difícil de acostumbrarse el primer día
Me agrada que disminuye la tensión sobre las muñecas aunque es muy dificil acostumbrarse los primeros días, vale la pena sufrirlo a lastimarse mas con un mouse convencional.
