These have pointed tips. Have a reasonable amount of travel and fit through holes designed for 0.1" headers. I have soldered 12 so far and one of them sometimes does not spring back all the way. Not sure if this is a defective pin or if I got something on there or in there.

These pogo pins are excellent, and function as described
These pogo pins are excellent, and function as described. The only thing lacking from these pins is a small hole at the top of the pin. The hole is useful for registering the pin in a test fixture. Otherwise, the quality of the product is excellet. The spring action works great. This works just as a test terminal should.
