Sepano Automatic Watch Winder for 2 Watches, Watch Winder Box with Quiet Motor, Dual Power Supply

I bought this as I got a new automatic watch and only had a single winder previously. This fits two 43mm watches side by side perfectly. With the lid closed its absolutely silent. My old single winder had to be turned off at night as it's in my bedroom, but this one is left on and the can't hear a thing, and after 4 weeks it continues to be silent.I love the look of the box, however it does get dusty quite quickly due to the piano black type material it's made from. It does look superb though.I love the fact that it has different settings. It's easy to set up and adjust to the needs of your automatic movement. I plan on buying more automatic watches in the future and will definitely get another of these winders when I do.

This is a good looking and silent in operation double watch winder. These Japanese motors seem to have become both quieter in operation in recent years and more reliable. Not that they weren't reliable before, but I have had others for years which show no signs of failing or stopping working. I know there is a control knob incorporated into this winder, but I just set it on both directions, maximum turns per day. I have never had any problem with doing that in the past. OK, I gave this product 4 stars and not 5 for one reason only. The cushions that the watch's sit on have two sizes by having a larger removeable outer cushion. This is so that the winder can accommodate a smaller and a larger wrist size. My wrist at 17.5CM's falls between the two. So I have to do a bit of DIY to make a cushion that my watch fits onto snugly, by cutting the larger cushion down a bit and then taping it into place. Having got the watch to fit snugly, I now find that the cushion with watch attached moves about easily within it's housing. So that as the table with the two watches on rotates the cushions with watches attached fall down one way and then fall back the other. Not ideal at all. So a bit more DIY to the width of the cushion to ensure that it too becomes a snug fit within it's housing and remains firmly in place as the platter rotates. Don't be put off by my DIY comments. This really is a good watch winder which I am sure will last for years. I just think that with a bit more attention to detail where the cushions are concerned, the manufacturer could have made an all but perfect watch winder. Other watch winders have cushion retaining systems that will accommodate all wrist sizes, this watch winder would benefit from a more accommodating method of retaining the watch and cushion.

Looks great but hasn't done well over the first week.Also note that there is a blue background light that isn't mentioned in the listing.Fault:The part that rotates has lent forward and is rubbing on the base of the using causing a squeaking noise. Loud enough that I can hear it over the TV with an action film on.The rubbing is causing loads of debris inside as its just sanding itself.Refund requested.

This is a quality item but I am so disappointed, the case had been damaged prior to boxing. See photo. The item was received double boxed both boxes has no external damage. Why are seconds been sold as new. Noise level when working is silent.

I had a spare £50 gift card laying around and was debating one of these for a while and chose this one because of the claimed mabuchi motor. The listing is a bit confused, some of the recent review photos show a winder with two separate bays whereas the one I got was as per the main listing. The finish is good quality and the motor is completely silent for now. I tested it over a day with an Oris TT1 and a Steeldive tuna which are both heavy watches and it seemed fine with plenty of clearance. It transpires that some of these Chinese winders have no turns per day control and this is one of them. What this means is you are limited to the presets which are not ideal as they are above the movement parameters for tpd. I'm going to monitor over a few days and see how it goes before making a decision to keep it.Update.....So after a couple of weeks this appears to be holding up okay. The motor continues to be quiet which is the main thing. Not knowing about winders beforehand I have since learned about "turns per days" Most automatics require around 650 tpd which maintains the mainspring at its optimum level.There's no separate control for tpd on this winder so I worked out the tpd for the individual programs.P2 Clockwise = 960 tpd.P3 Anticlockwise = 960 tpdP4 Clockwise & anticlockwise = 1920 tpd.P5 Clockwise & anticlockwise with 8 hour rest = 650 tpd.As you can see P5 is the best setting for the majority of watches. Program 5 is working for me on Sellita sw200, Seiko nh35s and orient in house movements.One thing I found was that the motor is supposed to turn 7.5 times a minute but I count about 9 and this has quite an effect on tpd. If I was to buy another winder I would be looking at one with separate tpd control.
