Review: It’s a brilliant addition to your kitchen - This is a very well made steamer, I’ve never used one before, as you can see from the photos, I placed 2 pieces of salmon with spring onion and ginger in top basket & broccoli, shiitake mushrooms, asparagus & cauliflower in bottom basket steamer. Placed into wok with water. All cooked in 12 minutes. Easy to clean. If you want your food tasty 😋 buy one. I love it.
Review: Successful first recipe. - Works well. Used it to make Korean Mandu Dumplings stuffed with minced pork which turned out well. Lined the steaming trays with greaseproof paper with holes cut to allow the steam through to keep the bamboo clean. Apparently the bamboo absorbs some of the moisture which avoids the dumplings getting sticky. Took a while to dry the steamer out afterwards. Didn’t want to leave it damp in case of mould forming. I was afraid it might warp, but it didn’t.

This is a very well made steamer, I’ve never used one before, as you can see from the photos, I placed 2 pieces of salmon with spring onion and ginger in top basket & broccoli, shiitake mushrooms, asparagus & cauliflower in bottom basket steamer. Placed into wok with water. All cooked in 12 minutes. Easy to clean. If you want your food tasty 😋 buy one. I love it.

It arrived in a make shift brown cardboard box. It did contain any instructions, whatsoever just the steamer! . It looks sturdy enough Time will tell. But I am doubtful that it is a genuine product.
