Great lights, I would recommend!
Update 11/12/22: We had 2 go out this week which I replaced with some spares. I'm glad I had spares of the same type as these are now unavailable and I'm not sure if I could obtain the same color temperature. Not bad after 7 years I would say.Update 05/06/19: So I've been running these since Feb 2017 and after the initial issues there have been no problems. All of the bulbs still dim evenly and none have burned out. Still really pleased with these bulbs!Edit: As of 11/07/17 I have encountered no other issues with the bulbs since these were purchased Jan 2015. None of the remaining bulbs have failed or exhibited any other signs of abnormal function. They operate with no discernible noise or flickering. These lights are on 8-12 hours a day, 7 days a week so they definitely have gotten some use. The power savings is fairly significant compared to the old halogens. We have 2 banks of 3 bulbs in the living room so 6 @ 50 watts is a total of 300 watts on the old halogen bulbs. Comparatively these new bulbs are rated to pull a total of 36 watts for the same two arrays. This is a substantial decrease in power consumption which over time will help with the electricity bill. I would absolutely recommend these bulbs for anyone looking to replace dim-able halogen bulbs.I purchased this six pack of bulbs after testing a single bulb in our track lighting. All of the bulbs dimmed nicely which I was pleased with after reading that some users had to change their dimmer switches. Upon installation however 2 of the six failed within the first 10 minutes. One bulb failed completely and would not illuminate at all after the initial minute, and the other intermittently went out. The second intermittent bulb appears to have some issue related to heat as it would cut out after it warmed up and after it cooled would turn back on.I contacted Amazon who directed me to the manufacturer since I did not want to replace all 6 bulbs. Upon speaking to the manufacturer I was informed I would be receiving two replacement bulbs which I felt was the appropriate response. Today upon arriving home I found an entire 6 pack of bulbs had been shipped by the manufacturer. I greatly appreciate that the manufacturer stood behind their product, and while not necessary the additional bulbs are wonderful to have.I did an informal test of the difference between the 50w halogen bulbs and these LED's. The housing around the lights (glass housing that shrouds the actual bulbs) ran around 160-180 degrees F when ambient surface temps were 70. You could noticeably tell they were on when standing beneath them. The housing for the LED's are around 85 degrees F under the same conditions. There is no noticeable heat emanating from them. These particular Triangle bulbs are brighter than the existing halogens I had in the two tracks. I don't have a light meter but I would hazard they are 10-20% brighter than the halogens. It was a significant enough difference that I could visually distinguish a difference in total output between the two side by side. The tint is nice and not harsh at all. While not as "yellow" as the halogens they replaced, I do believe they are close to the color temperature advertised. The only difference, which did not matter to me is that these do not "leak" light out of the top of the bulb as the halogens do. This means they do not cast a faint light on the ceiling as the halogens they replaced did. I do not mind this as I don't need my ceiling illuminated.Overall I am pleased with these bulbs due to the cost, energy consumption, dimming, and output. Time will tell regarding their actual longevity. Because two of the 6 initially failed I do question the long term durability. It could just be I receive two from a bad batch. The remainder have not exhibited any problems. Should any more fail I will update this review.

Perfect Replacements!
I received an email from this supplier requesting that I write a review, but was not offered any incentive to encourage me to make it positive. So, here goes; So far, I am ecstatic with the performance of these GU-10 base bulbs that I used in a 5 lamp chandelier over my dining table. The previous halogen incandescent bulbs were on a dimmer, and when run at full brightness (which I do rarely) the bulbs got so hot that they would begin to smell as the dust burned off. This was always a concern to me, as their little bulb shades were made of glass. These bulbs are identical in size and fit to the previous incandescents, and run so cool that you can hold onto the little shades while they put out an amazing amount of light. They dim very linearly, and stay on all the way down to 10% as measured on my Insteon (R) dimmer. The light quality is "whiter" than the incandescents, but not at all unpleasant to work or eat under for me. Also, unlike the incandescents, the color of the light stays much the same as they are dimmed. The old incandescents turn almost "orange" at 10% brightness.I cannot hear any hum or buzz when dimmed, but the lights are at ceiling height after all, so if there is any, it's inaudible. Also, the light is well distributed with minimal "hot spots" from the array of LED's in each bulb. In other words, they are more "flood" than "spot."Of course, the only thing I can't comment on yet is their service life, but they look and feel of very good quality. Not "cheap" like some I have looked at, but rather solid and with exceptional fit and finish. So, I hope and expect that they will last.I am slowly converting all my lighting in the house to LED, and these bulbs fit, work, and shine beautifully in this application. I am very pleased with them.
