I wanted a bell that would blend into my handlebars without being an obvious dome plonked on the top. This is very subtle, and stylish. Mine is black and it blends with then handle bars. The ring tone is nice, not at all piercing. It is not the loudest sound, but car drivers aren't going to hear you anyway. Pedestrians and other cyclists can hear it well.

As many have said, its not the loudest but the high pitch makes up for that a little. looks great.

The media could not be loaded. After reading so many negative reviews I was a bit hesitant. The shape not being a "bell" probably compromises a bit of the resonance. However in a cycle path I had no trouble alerting people of my approximation, as intended. The note is nice and overall it's athletically pleasing. 1 star deducted for the high price though :)Let's see if it holds this way, if it does I'm happy.

Looks fantastic. Normal bells are not cool these look brilliant on the bars. Originally bought the large thinking a mountain bike would be thicker but actually only needed the small to put it by the gear lever. That’s when the good parts end.It’s pretty quiet, a nice sound but doesn’t travel. A cheap bell is much louder. It is also flimsy as hell I’ve broken 2 in 6 months. The hammer sticks out and is held in place with a spring which is too easy to knock off or the spring lose it’s strength. Not good considering the too high price

I was obviously attracted to it's discreet profile and build quality, both of which are excellent. The downside is that the bell isn't that loud, certainly not as loud as far cheaper bells out there. I cycle in an old historic city centre; lots of semi-pedestrian areas, narrow traffic-filled roads and plenty of noise. If you live somewhere a little quieter then you'll be fine but not so good for me.
