Does the job!
I've been very satisfied with the Performance Tool W190C Performance Tool Wire Crimper/Stripper. The price was right, and they have worked well, and seem to be built for the long haul. I can't compare them with the more expensive crimper/stripper, regarding their longevity under heavy use, but for my needs, they're perfect, and seem to be of a high quality and durable. The way I use them, I don't expect to ever need to replace them because they're worn out. I'm very glad I purchased them.

Does what it’s designed for.
Last one served me for over fifteen years.

Total garbage
Shame on me for buying cheap tools. These were total garbage and I returned them. They were so tight I needed to use 2 hands to open them and they couldn't even cut.

Blades are powder coated. Not usable as strippers.
I have an old tool almost identical to this that I use all the time. I wanted to purchase another to keep in a different location. The tool design seems to be nearly identical.Unfortunately, it seems that the manufacturer has decided to powder coat (or paint?) the entire tool, including the blades! This makes the tool worthless for stripping wires — at least, without considerable effort. Perhaps I may be able remove the coating with a file to save the tool, but this should not be required. It's just a very weird issue.See included image for reference vs. my old tool.Too late to return as I had not needed to use it earlier.

not bad but not great
they get the job done. definitely kind of cheap but you get what you pay for. i bought it because the crimping jaws are in the front so you can crimp in tight areas and it definitely does exactly that. the hinge is tight enough to hold your connector in the jaws while you put the wires in both ends. the handles are very thin and small, like they are made for a 10 year old. they hurt a little if you squeeze too hard. the stripper is not super sharp but it does the job.

As Expected, solid but simple.
Pretty basic but solid enough for a basic set of strippers/crimpers.Mainly I bought this one because the price was right. For the price, the joint is solid so far, the joint is also snug and not sloppy.A little stiff at first but I'd rather that than a sloppy and loose joint.
