This is so easy to hold. No more kindle in the face when u fall asleep reading. The hand strap keeps it secure, or you can use the kickstand. It is was prettier in person than in the picture. It is very lightweight. It adds some bulk with the hand straps of course. If u want feather thin then I have to get one without, but this one comes pretty darn close.This was my "perfect" case. It his all the check marks and had great reviews. It arrived via prime and I promtly snapped it on. It's very snug and everything lines up well.It has auto sleep to help save battery. It also has magnets on the other side to keep it open when using the hand strap. They will hold the weight of the kindle. However if u happen to shake it to much or slide it sideways to much it will come undone giving you the dreaded kindle sleep slap!This has been a wonderful case so far and looks to be very well made. Absolutely love it.

Love! I’ll be honest, I was just looking for something cheap figuring I’d get something nicer later. I purchased this the same day as my kindle and wanted to see how much I would actually use the thing before investing in a “nice” case. It was important to me that I have a hand strap and that I could flip the cover back and have it stay while I read while in bed. This checks every box and then some. Magnet for holding the cover open or closed is strong enough. I switch from side to back reading and it has never shut on me once. The awake when open is nice too. Handle is nice and stable without being too tight or loose. Haven’t used the prop feature so can’t really say how well that would hold up over much use. Fit my paper white kindle like a glove. Easy to snap into place and it holds all around the perimeter except the area where it plugs in and where the power button is. Inside is a nice soft material except for where the handle/stand is. Outside is a slightly textured material which gives it a good grip. I won’t need to purchase a “nice” case…I already have one! This case is perfect!

I have used many, MANY cases for my Kindles over the years; some better than others. I have a difficult time finding ones that serve all of my needs. But, this one seems to do it. Here's why:1. And this may seem silly. But, it's important to me: it's pretty. I can't stand boring. I like to have a case that I actually LIKE seeing.2. The magnet: I LOVE that the magnet not only shuts the screen off when closed, but ALSO adheres on the back side when the case is OPEN. I've had cases in the past that had the screen shut off, but nothing to adhere the back to itself while the kindle is open. It ends up swinging around at times, which turned out to annoy me. *shrug* This may seem like a small thing - and maybe it is, in the realm of things - but, it made a difference to me.3. A kickstand that lays flush with the inside of the jacket. The kickstand on this does not interfere with the magnet closure at all. I suppose it might if you end up bending the kickstand, somehow. But, as it arrives, it lays flat and doesn't interfere with the use of the magnet at all. Plus, it serves its purpose very nicely. I have a metal stand I used to use before the days of cases with kickstands. That case is no longer necessary and, when I went on a trip recently, I didn't have to lug the stand with me because this case has it already built in.4. The handstrap. First of all, let me say that I'm left-handed. Inevitably, hand straps are geared toward the RIGHT-HANDED population; which annoys me to no end. And in reality, this case is no different. HOWEVER, due to the fact that this case also has the kickstand, I can use the kickstand to hold the Kindle in my left hand. If I happen to switch to my right hand, which I do on occasion, I use the hand strap. So, I let the right-handed hand strap pass on this one because of a multi-functional kickstand.5. Last, but certainly not least: PROTECTION. I feel as if this case will protect my precious Kindle from drops and spills as good as any on the market. I like the hard-shell back that the Kindle snaps into; I've always preferred these to soft-sided cases. They protect while keeping the size manageable. I fully believe that this case offers very good protection for my device. And that's important to me.All in all, this is probably the best Kindle Paperwhite case I've ever had and, possibly, the best Kindle case, overall. I've had about 4 or 5 different Kindle e-readers over the years. So, saying that this is the best case really means something to me. I highly recommend this one. Happy reading!

My Kindle Paperwhite is ancient (2015?) and has had only one case. That car lasted really well but has had hard use over the years, and is finally showing its age. I decided to see what might be available for ancient Kindles, and the one with magnolias on a black background caught my eye. I’ve had it for only a few weeks, but I like it. The hand strap is useful. The back magnet helps it stay together while I’m reading, though I wish it was a little stronger. And it looks really great. Five stars.

SO GLAD I go this one. Others had better reviews and more reviews, I was so hesitant but I'm SOOO glad I went with my gut here. I live in FL so lots of pools/beaches/sun and I have a big dog who plops down on the couch (sometimes on my kindle lol), so I was looking for something water-resistant, hardcover, and THIN. I also wanted a hand holder and table stand... This. Is. IT!!!I used to have a case that had the hard back case that held the kindle and then a softcover behind it with a soft cover that covered the front.. and it made it SO bulky. This one is PERFECT because its just a thin, hard case with a cover, no bulk. 100% Perfection.I love the feel of the material because it's solid but has a light texture, it feels so good to touch! and it's NOT "leathery" which feels weird, gets sticky, and peels. This one is solid, great texture, no peeling. It's absolutely perfect. Stop wondering.. and GET THIS ONE! I've had it for over 3 months and it's holding up perfectly so far. I took close-up pics so you can see the texture and thinness.PS I also love the design, but now that I have it, I would get any design just to have the feel for this case. And DONT read Rules of Magic book, it's not that good lol

Being able to fit in my hand while reading has been amazing. Haven't really used the standing support yet, but it is steady! Good quality, i really fell my kindle is protect with it!

This is a well made case. I like the black: simple and understated.The stand is handy - sturdy with an elasticated band to stop it going too far. The holding strap is also very useful. It's positioned to the left of the kindle as you are holding it, so if I'm lying on my right hand side in bed, I don't use the strap, instead I lodge my fingers in the opening between the case and case cover. Compared to other cases, this does not have any significant extra thickness. For what it does it's as slimline as other cases. Very happy.

I got this for Christmas and must say I'm very impressed. This fits my paperwhite perfectly and is very well constructed. It stands up very easily, the hand strap is very convenient and I love that it puts the device to sleep and wakes it up when closing & opening of it.
