Le Veneziane Gluten Free Penne Rigate Corn Pasta - 8.8 oz

My fiancé is allergic to not only wheat but eggs, rice, and soy to name a few. That makes pasta quite difficult. Usually we have to get the lentil or veggie pasta and it’s fine but they have a flavor frost isn’t great. This doesn’t have weird flavor (it barely tastes like anything), the texture is totally on point (doesn’t fall apart), and he had no allergic reactions. I’m totally sold!!!

I just about couldn't believe all the reviews for this product, but being about three months into a GF diet, I was starving for some good pasta. All the rice products we get in the US just fall apart, even when properly cooked. I've even had some corn pasta here, and it didn't hold together very well, either.This stuff was absolutely incredible. Even if I didn't have to eat gluten free, I would prefer this to regular wheat pasta. It has a firm texture and rich flavor, not to mention the lovely golden color provided by the corn.I am a culinary student, blogger, caterer and instructor. I hope to be able to use this product when cooking for others. Looking for restaurant quantities!

Didn't have a lot of flavor. Took long time to cook.

Cooked properly this pasta has a nice texture but a strong corn taste. I did not enjoy it.

Seriously good!! Being new to trying to eat gluten free, this pasta is super tasty and so very like "regular" pasta.

I have celiac disease so I have to eat gluten free. My dad has it as well and was diagnosed about 5 years before I was, so we both have a lot of experience with gluten free products. We're Italian so pasta is pretty important. This pasta is the closest to the texture and taste of real pasta that I've ever tried. It's good enough that the rest of my family eats it too, so we no longer need to cook two different kinds of pasta. It'll take time to learn how to cook it the exact amount, but once you get it you won't miss real pasta any longer.

Best non gluten pasta. It does not be sticky when you cook it. I have recommended to all my non gluten friends. First bought it in Puerto Vallarta, Mex. at the gourmet section of Liverpool. Don't like other pasta any more after this one.Please carry the capellini online. I can only get it when I am in Mexico. They carry it.

I started buying this brand years ago and even my French Husband agrees it tastes as great if not better than most pasta! Now that he has been diagnosed with celiac it’s the only pasta we eat. It is corn based rather than rice which I think makes the difference and they offer a huge variety ; I highly recommended this brand ! Check out the variety pack!
