A great torch.....at last! - I've bought/had lots of torches over the years, but this is by far the best. On ordering I thought "this is a bit pricey, but I'll give it a go". Once it had arrived and I tried it out.....I now think it's a bargain for how good it is - on its most powerful setting it is brighter than a car headlight, useful where I live (out in the country with no street lights). It's so powerful yet so compact/handy to have in your pocket - about the size of a Mars bar* (*Mars bars are shrinking). I'm glad I found such a good torch after all this time - I found it/it was reviewed in the Caravan Club magazine.

Buttons are loose and do not feel secure or safe. Not as well made as other xtar lights.

Very powerful white light for size, feels good quality, solid and nicely finishedthe on/off button is my only criticism, but once you get the hang of the different modes it its fine

My second Xtar flashlight, and a steal at this price (£23.49). The model I received is the mark II version which is actually 1100 lumens. My only gripe is it lacks memory mode to start up in the same mode it was last used in, which is surprising given the other one I own (a cheaper and smaller version) does have this feature.

Fantastic little torch.However batteries are expensive,though do hold their charge well.
