Great loom for beginner
O am really enjoying my new loom. It is exactly what I wanted, it's well made and I've already made a beautiful pillow and a set of 4 placemats. I would highly recommend this loom.

Ashford Weaving Stand
Exactly as advertised. Very prompt delivery. Helpful instructional booklet. Everything you need to get started, except yarn. I did a lot of research on different manufacturers and their products, am very happy with this purchase. You can use the Ashford 32" Rigid Heddle Loom without the stand, but I think this width loom without a stand would be awkward.

This is a MUST HAVE for total rigid heddle weaving enjoyment!
This stand is indispensable if you own an Ashford 32" rigid heddle loom! It's easy to move the loom to various locations in your home, and breaks down easily to transport in your car.

Worth the price tag
My wife loves this thing. She has been weaving for months without the stand and I’m so glad I got her this. She is able to weave more easily from the couch. It’s fits the loom perfectly.

Very nice!
A bit expensive, for just a few pieces of unfinished wood, but does what it says it will. Holds the loom tight and snug, easy to assemble.

I would really like it. She was right
I took a weaving class and the lady sitting next to me to get a stand for my loom. I would really like it. She was right. Makes weaving a lot more comfortable and much easier . I can see what I am doing a lot better.

Sweet!
But I don't love the instructions. Never mind; in the pantheon of crazy things I've had to put together with next to nothing as a guide, this is minor. So, the first thing I do with wood is see if I'm gonna be able to live with it. I know Ashford prides itself on the quality of the timber they used & they're right. It is gorgeous, however, I like my 'furniture' on the walnut side of the spectrum. I sanded & stained both my loom & the stand pre-assembly, of course; then applied some wax & polished all the pieces, including the 7.5 heddle (cover the plastic with wide painter's tape before doing this!)Now to the assembly of stand. If you've been subjecting yourself to tungoil fumes & working past bedtime, probably not in the best shape to troubleshoot, but this morning I figured it out--the instructions imply that the loom does NOT already have the proper holes drilled for placement of the (carriage) bolts. That's not the case; the holes are right there. The issue is of course the carriage part of the carriage bolt. Yep, you gotta smack those puppies before they'll go in & stay put. That's it. Problem solved. Now I just have to find me some 8-ply Tekapo & his nibs will get his scarf...

You can only use it or for best results use with a rigid heddle Ashford loom.
Haven’t put it together yet. I still have to wax it. I have heard and read many good comments about getting a stand for your rigid heddle loom. I have an Ashford so bought an Ashford stand
