Hydor Professional 350 External Canister Filter for 220-350 Liter Tank (Speed 900 L/H)

The Hydor brand is worth the money. I would rate this filter much higher than the Eheim Classics! The Eheim Pro series is a class apart though...and also triple the price of any Hydor, so not comparable. Build quality is like Randeep Hooda..solid. Accessories are of very good make. I have stacked mech-ceramic in the botttom tray and 3 sets of foam inside the tray above. The other 2 trays have varying sizes of porous ceramic media...bigger to smaller for the top tray. You need to be CAT to hear the noise!! The Flow is very good. I think with some bio-aid ( old tank water...Seachem Staibility ) I have already attained "cycling" in 3 weeks! I have 25 Cobra Guppy, 10 Albino Cory, 12 Cardinal Tetra, 12 Zebra Danio, 3 Ramirezi...live substrate/rocks/driftwood/plants. Water 240ltrs true. 3 weeks later would fill 4-6 mid age Discus. That would complete the stocking.

Cristal clear water after installation of the Hydor Canister Filter. My fishes are very active and healthy after I switch to this Canister Filter. Value for money and within the budget.

Disliked to see sand in the canister. Looks like it was used at some point of time, but for the motor looks new sure. No scratches made me accept the product. Functionality sure be fine as for the brand. Bad service by the seller. Trust is important, the seller should not take us for a ride with it.

Have purchased this filter from AquaNature who is the countrywide distributor for Hydor in India and have been using it for the past one year and it works extremely well. I have been using it on a planted aquarium and it keeps the water sparkling clean.

Hi I have purchased Hyder. Worst. I lost my lovely arowana and other fishes worth about Rs. 70000. Returning the same.

Inefficient filteration, go for the cheaper products instead, activated charcoal missing

Brilliant filter! Next to silent, great build quality and the flow on this is far more than what I expected.The tubes are about 1.5m long which is normal, I love the spray bar on this filter, it comes in segments and can produce one hell of a long spray bar.I have a 600L tank and this does a really good job, the filter medium provided is of great quality and the bio rings are lovely and ruff! (The manufacture claims that for 1L of bio rings gives 8.5sqr metres of area for bacteria to grow. Inlet is also adjustable!

Der Filter hat ordentlichen Durchsatz. Auch die Montage ist einfach.Allerdings ist der Filter einfach zu laut. Ich habe ihn 72 Stunden laufen lassen. Dabei regelmäßig Luft entfernt.Trotzdem ein ständiges Schnarren.Habe mir einen Tetra EX 800 geholt. Der ist wohnzimmerkompatibel

Ich hatte vorher einen Tetra 850. Der war nach kurzer Zeit undicht. Dann ging die Suche los. Habe mich kurzzeitig mit Innenfiltern bedient. Aber die muss man zu oft reinigen. Als der Filter ankam, staunte ich schon über das Equipment. Dicke Schläuche, die Anschlüsse wertig. Man kann die Anschlüsse schließen. Und der Kopf geht leicht abzuheben, wenn es notwendig ist. Die Reinigungsarbeiten sind hier echt kinderleicht. Den Tetra musste ich alle 4 Wochen reinigen. Meistens wegen der Schläuche bzw. ließ die Leistung dermaßen nach. Jetzt reinige ich nach ca. 4 Monaten. Obwohl er dann immer noch genügend Leistung hat. Aber die Schläuche usw. werden dann doch braun. Ok. Geräuschpegel ist durch die Starke Leistung auch höher. Aber ich schlafe ja nicht im Wohnzimmer. Es hält sich in Grenzen. Man hört mehr die Strömung, nicht das Flügelrad. Ich kann den Filter nur empfehlen. Viele deutsche Hersteller können nur von dieser Qualität träumen. Ok. Schwämme muss man nachkaufen. Da hole ich welche von JBL und schneide sie zu. Fertig. Ich hoffe , er hält noch ganz lange. :-)

Habe mir den Hydor 350 für mein 200liter Aquarium geholt.Er hält das Wasser sehr klar, die Körbe lassen sich gut befüllen.Von der Lautstärker her, war er die ersten tage deutlich zu hören, mittlerweile nach einem monat gibt er nur noch ein "brummen" von sich, das brummen ist jetzt nicht nervig, aber wenn es wirklich leise im raum ist, hört man es. Bei mir steht das Aquarium im Wohnzimmer von daher ist es mit der "Lautstärke" vollkommen ok.Der Filter bietet eine sehr gute Preis/Leistung, es ist alles dabei was man braucht, der Aufbau ist kinderleicht. Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen. Ein Stern Abzug da er nicht lautlos ist.
