Review: A great, inexpensive audio system - Honestly like these a lot. Sound quality is decent, they can get quite loud and since they are 2 small units, you can place them as far apart as you need. Controls are just a simple volume wheel, but personally I always leave it all the way up and just adjust volume on the PC control center. They are compatible with any system a standard 3.5mm audio jack, but you do need a USB A port available purely to power them. I got the black ones and they look nice and have a decent heft to them, I do somewhat wish there was a way to disable the blue LEDs on the underside, but other than that they’re great.

**Q: Is there a model without the light? Afterall why would you power something that is not necessary to the sound production.**
A: These speakers are powered by USB so if you are connecting to the PC USB port is always powered for recharging then the lights will stay ON. if you connect it to a port that does not have power when the PC is shutdown the the lights will be off. On my Minisforum Ryzen mini pc the front USB ports are always on but the rear USB ports are not always powered. I leave the speakers connected to the back USB port so the lights are off when the computer is off

**Q: Do these speakers have an output jack for connecting earbuds or headphones?**
A: You can buy a ' Y ' cable connect to PC headphone. A: I ordered "2 pairs (4 speakers)." I actually received a nice compact box with 4 pairs of 8 speakers--that's 4 powered pairs. Like someone else said, "enough for 4 computers."

A: It’s actually about 30 inches. I measured.

Honestly like these a lot. Sound quality is decent, they can get quite loud and since they are 2 small units, you can place them as far apart as you need. For the price, these speakers are a solid upgrade over built-in monitor speakers, clearer sound and much better overall audio experience. That said, don't expect heavy bass; the low end is pretty weak and won't satisfy anyone looking for a fuller sound. There is not much control, only a volume knob control. It is also easy to use. However, I had a frustrating experience where one of the speakers stopped working out of the box, which forced me to return them. Quality control seems to be an issue. If yours works properly, I'd say these are a good deal for the price range, but it's a big "if." Compatibility is straightforward too, it uses a standard 3.5mm aux cable and is USB powered, so no extra or special cables needed right out of the box. Worth trying if you need a budget-friendly speaker upgrade, just hope you get a working pair!
