Not great quality, but for a $1 a pair, it's O.K.
Not tightly knit or heavy duty cotton, but it's O.K. for light to moderate garden work. I used a pair to cut down big weeds/small trees with a sawzall and it did the job. How many uses I'll get out of a pair remains to be seen.Update 10/23/09: After I completed the weed job, I threw out the pair, but it lasted the entire job which was around three+ hours a day for three days of moderate to hard work; pretty good for a dollar (or less) a pair. As far as size goes, I have medium-sized hands and it fit fine with extra room to spare.

Comfortable and durable
Good value for the price. Our whole family used it and good protection for construction jobs.

Work great in cooler weather
Keep your hands warm while being able to work outside in the yard. These have a good grip and warmth. I like the thin nitrile coated gloves in the summer but these are warmer for winter use.

Type of Work Matters
I am a package handler for FedEx Ground and I use gloves to help grip packages and keep my hands in decent shape. I purchased these gloves to see if they would work well enough for my position, but these gloves do not hold up well enough in the least bit. The typical gloves I use last between one to two weeks with working five days out of the week. These gloves I started using today and they did not make it through the first four hour shift. The latex on them is too thin for rigorous activity, such as dragging across cardboard boxes, and once they loose the latex they are relatively worthless for my job. I obviously purchased 12 pairs of these gloves, so I have 11 pairs remaining, but I will keep the rest so I can use them for miscellaneous activities around my house. I hope when I do this I will have better results with possibly less rigorous activity.

Gloves are OK, but not "sticky"
These gloves are OK. The coating seems durable, but the grip is not as soft and "sticky" like I had hoped. I am keeping them for jobs that require more than nitrile or latex disposables. I will have to keep other gloves with a softer rubber palm that will grip better for jobs that need them.

Great gloves for the money
Much more durable than I thought they would be.
