Textile Techniques in Metal: For Jewelers, Textile Artists & Sculptors

I was disappointed, the photos were largely in black and white and the print in some places was not very clear. I also expected patterns or some kind of instruction on the 3 colour photos on the front of the book ( the main reason I bought the book) but couldn't find anything .....

I am a wire jewelry artist. This book is fantastic. It is definitely for jewelry artists. Weaving, spool knitting, crocheting, knitting, twining, coiling,.... this book is a wealth of knowledge and ideas. Wish I had bought this book years ago.

So outside the box with the imagination. The sky is not the limit when it comes to the creativity that this book can inspire. I bow to Ms. Fisch, she made her mark.

What's been created in this book demonstrates the imaginative and technical skills of those who are truly dedicated to an art form that leaves most of us bowing to the masters. It's a must have for anyone considering learning or advancing their skills in metal weaving, threading, twining, twisting of metal to create works of wonder. For everyone else it's a superb reference book for an ancient artform with some fascinating new twists : )

I was really disappointed as almost the entire book is in black and white. Also I was hoping for instructions/patterns for weaving - there are a few. Mostly a nice coffee table book featuring Arline's work.

Arline's artwork is still relevant today, so I love having this book in my arsenal. Many techniques that help me see metalwork as an art form, beyond the crafty world. Wish I could find more demos of her works, but still, a great little book.

Wish there were more instructions. Still pretty good book.

The paper quality for this print is quite poor and there has been no update since original printing. The content is great though.

Great for inspiration and easy to follow for a textile person dabbling in metalwork.

Amazing book!

Well detailed, illustrated and instructed book on a wide variety of materials and methodologies. A must have reference for anyone who wants to get into this medium.
