Miller Shingle MasterCut Round Decorative Cedar Shingles 104 Pieces

As the owner of an old Victorian house in the Mid Hudson Valley region of NY state, it's becoming increasingly hard to find materials similar to those used in the original construction, especially when it comes to the cedar shakes (a.k.a. shingles) used on the gable ends of my property.Fortunately, Miller MasterCut shingles are both the exact same material as the original shakes, and are also dimensionally perfect. Unfortunately, being a product of the West Coast, they are not commonly available in NY State.Having exhausted my local supply, I was unfortunately one box short to complete the project on my house... and the painters had already started.But these good folks saved the day... they expedited my order and the shingles arrived with 2 days... which is seriously impressive, given that they are in WA and I'm in NY!I have nothing but good words to say about this company, and would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone.

I am a handyman and do lots of jobs for friends and family. It seems the quality of wood materials have lessened over time. I only needed about 30 shingles but couldn't find this product at the local box store. I hesitated ordering this product as it was a little pricey. I pulled the trigger and when it arrived I was thoroughly impressed with the quality. No split or severely cupped shingles. These are quality end grain cut with no defects or knots. Every shingle seems carefully graded with no seconds. Even the shipping box was specifically designed to snugly hold the shingles with none damaged during shipping. Now that I have a few extra, I may extend my repair. With proper care they should last a lifetime. Your effort to quality control is appreciated.

I can’t say enough great things about this product. We used it to add some flair to a historic old “jerkin head” style house. I restore old houses for a living and I was getting so bored of seeing the same scallop and shake styles only available in big box stores. I did not order a sample and took a big chance by ordering all of the product upfront without ever seeing it in person. WOW! We are absolutely blown away. The shingles were super easy to install (although it does take a good amount of time since they are installed one piece at a time). But I promise you, the end result is worth it! This picture shows them before we stained and sealed them.

This company might be the only game in town for decorative cedar shingles but that doesn't stop them from offering excellent customer service! Products arrived in a timely fashion and look amazing on my house! Just be aware that if you are going to paint these shingles they will require numerous coats - they absorb the first couple of applications of paint quite rapidly.

I would highly recommend these shingles. They were exactly what I wanted.

These are amazing quality! I'm a general contractor. Came very quickly though I do live in Washington where they are cut. Came in strong box wrapped in plastic and it was raining. All came out dry and perfect with no cracks or warping. Very impressed with these!
