Great upgrade
Direct replacement for Everest Gen 7 drive shafts. Fits perfectly. They have a larger range of motion than the stock driveshafts too. The inserts are a little shorter than the stock version so they compress together further and they have stop tabs to keep them from separating.

It doesn’t have the set screw pin thing it has two set screws a side.
Very nice product. I like that it doesn’t have the set screw pin thing that is a pain to remove when stripped out!!

not very tough.
I bought these for my Redcat crawler after my plastic ones started to wear out. At first, I was impressed, they look very nice, but five minutes after I installed them, the bolts snapped loose and I lost front wheel drive. Tried using threadlocker, but it still kept snapping loose. the metal has already started to bend on them even after two runs.

Looks great but don't go crawling with them.
3 runs on a 2S battery and boom the universal joint is gone in the mud and I can't find it. Thought I was upgrading from the stock plastic ones but I still have the original plastic and now they are back on the truck. Hobbypark is so hot and miss with parts. This one is a miss.

Broke after a few uses
As others have said these look nice but after just a few uses the shaft broke at the pinion. My son wasn't even rock crawling he was just driving his RC in the grass and then it broke on flat ground. We have these installed in a gen7 pro. I would not recommend.

Look Nice, didn't hold up on my stock gen7 pro
When I first received these driveshafts, I was excited about the look and full aluminum construction. When installing them, I had problems getting the grub screws to stay tight. The original design uses a cross shaft screw on each end that goes through the output on the transmission/pinion stubs, rather than 2 grubs on each side. Nothing a little locktite couldn't fix. After 3 days of moderate use, the front u-joint exploded at the pinion end, leaving me 2wd for Christmas. Then, they were insanely hard to remove after all the locktite I used to make them stay tight. I ended up having to use heat to release the locktite and pry the living heck out of them to get them to slide off. They look nice, are probably stronger than the stock plastic driveshaft that came on my gen7, but I would probably not recommend or buy again until the grub screw design is changed and/or serviceable u-joints are offered.
