Satisfying to build, mod and drive.
The media could not be loaded. Tamiya makes amazing high quality kits. Id recommend one of their kits to anyone looking to get into RC or revist it like I did. I think the most fun part of the hobby is the building and modding. Sure RCs are fun to drive but I think the pride and joy of owning one of these amazing toys is learning how it comes together and tinkering with it.Ive owned my fair share of RCs over the years and Id recommend a Tamiya kit over any hobby grade RTR or rolling chassis in terms of fun factor and ease of build.Recommend upgrading the steering to a dual servo setup. Its fairly straightforward and there are plenty of resources online for how to go about it.

I was so happy to see this available. I had the original version many years ago. This sure brought back memories. It has a couple of nice upgrades too !!! So much fun to build. Tamiya products are awesome !!!

Delivery was faster than expected!
It was everything that I hoped to be to me.I already have one that needed help.its been modified for truck pulls. Wanted it back to stock so my son can run it as well.

You can do anything with them crawl em or run em in the mud
I bought the first clod buster when it first came out in the early 80s and it's still running strong. Then did some mods to another one I bought went brushless crazy fast 40mph all alum gears shaft's it's crazy.

Last a life time
Bought this for my 6 year old son. Yes, I know I will be replacing parts due to his driving but the look on his face when he opens it is priceless. This is a toy that will last a life time

Great upgradable truck
Loved it..always loved tamiya rc since i was a kid but this kit i got just to make the rock crawler

missing parts
missing parts,esc ,motors dual, 8 shocks,stabilizer linkages .washers for hubs 2 per wheels upper and lower.this money i got from stimulus package.wanted to play with soo bad. after put almost together .upset and mad.help.

This is my favorite RC at the moment. I love how big it is and how powerful it is. It was fun to put it together.
